Good option for pursuing Engineering in Bhopal

The course curriculum is in line with the AICTE defined guidelines. Since the course is an Engineering course it demands that the practical and theory part are balanced equally. Exams are held in a semester wise manner with 2 semesters in a particular year of course. Both theoretical and practical examinations are conducted as a part of end semester examinations. Mid-sem test and unit test also conducted for evaluation.

The replacement rate of our colleges is decent. A good number of firms come each year to the college for placement. Companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Infosys visit our college for placement. Many of our seniors have got a good placement with a nice package. In terms of internship, one has to look for an internship on its own as the college doesn't provide internship. I myself got an internship in the NTPC which was managed by myself and I didn't get assistance from the college in this regard. The placement cell though helps students to get internship and placement.

The fee of our college is less as compared to other private colleges in the region. The fee for 1st year is around Rs 80, 000. In the subsequent years the amount of fee to be submitted annually reduces. In total a 4-year B.Tech program from our college costs around 3 to 4 lacs. This is in line with the private college fees which is usually higher than what our college charges.

The university offers scholarship to those who got good ranks in JEE mains for other entrance examination. Apart from that scholarship is offered to a meritorious student who performs well in the 10+2 examination. Madhya Pradesh State government also offers scholarship to meritorious students and students from reserved categories like the SC, ST or OBC. One can also apply for a Central Government scholarship offered through the national scholarship portal. education loan facility is available from both the private banks and the public sector banks.

In terms of extracurricular activities, the college has various technical societies, culture groups, dance groups etc. Events like freshers party, annual fest, sports meets are held each year. In terms of infrastructure, the college is very good and the labs are good and are equipped with all the necessary equipment that are required to conduct practicals for engineering. The atmosphere of colleges also good and lively.

I appeared in JEE main examination. since I got a decent score in the JEE Main examination I got this college on the second round of counselling. I want to pursue my graduation in my hometown so I applied for this university as it is one of the renowned educational hubs in Bhopal. Admissions are also offered through management quota that is direct admission where JEE main marks are not considered.

The faculty of our college is very professional. Most of the teachers have PhD level knowledge in their respective domains. Since the core of Engineering lies in doing by learning the approach of teaching is such that students are encouraged to understand the concept rather than learning it as a theoretical thing. The faculty is very helpful both in helping us understand the theory and practical aspects and in the lab they help us and guide us to perform the practicals on our own.
