College with Best Campus Life!

I am glad that I opted PGPM course from IITRADE. It was a roller coaster of learning experiences. The institute is pretty much dedicated to preparing the leaders for the future. One of the best things about the institute was that they were constantly emphasizing on imposing cultural diversity and academic diversity to infuse a varying perspective in the classroom for enhanced learning.

The semester system was well fabricated and helped us to learn more and in an easier way. And to get the notes the Library had it all with approximately 2000 plus books and reference notes available to us the study notes were never an issue.

Campus life is pretty decent and had a perfect balance of academics and fun. The college has many active societies that organize different extracurricular activities like Debates, cultural programs, outings like trekking, field trips for spreading awareness, etc. The infrastructure was okay, it was under construction at that time.

The first-year fee for my PGPM course was just over 6 lacs for the first year, which is at least less than other IIMs. The total course fee was around 12 lacs for the two-year program, which I paid in biannual installments.

Sports facilities are generally bad since we are too absorbed in our academics. Overall the social life was good, depending upon how well you managed it. The library contains books and journals from different disciplines like analytics, finance, marketing, human resource, and other management books.

Hostel rooms are available on a double occupancy basis. Mess food is not that great though and there is a lot of room for improvement in that regard. Hostel rooms are spacious and had a decent infrastructure.

I always wanted to pursue a management course so I applied in this PGPM course as soon as I graduated by applying the online application form which was available easily and it cost me around Rs 500 to Rs 550/- for the form fees.

Teaching was creative and unique. We had movies and football screenings, where we would be asked to observe and analyse the feature to deduce the management perspective in that particular piece. Live references from a recent news piece helped us to really connect and relate to the business models we studied.
