Best college for interest in Finance

College management is good whether its education, support, guidance, student-driven clubs and committees.

The course curriculum covers every aspect related to banking sector also the course is designed in a such a way that it started with a base of Finance from ground level which makes it easy for even a non-finance graduate example like engineer or science graduate to understand the concept and use them in research related to projects or internships and even in the jobs.

Placement drive includes recruiters from Banking sector band placement week is mostly during November every year. Mainly Private sector banks in India like HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, HDBC Bank and various consultancy firms like KPMG, Grant Thorton, Aptiva, Accenture are recruiters. Internships occur from April to May month every year. The internship is offered by companies like, CRISIL, Future Generali, HDFC Bank, Ujjivan Bank and various others.

Every year there is NIBM technical & cultural festival named as Adhikosh which involves various technical events like banking event with name as All India Bank, the stock event with name as Bid the Pip and participation is from almost all B-Schools in India. Also, there is another event name as NIBM Colloquium everywhere which is 2-day event involves technical events which gets participation from various B-Schools.

Fees structure is feasible with the facilities provided by the college. The total fees for the full course of 2 years PGDM is INR 12Lakhs which includes hostel fees, tuition fees except for the mess fees. If we see the return on investment then the fees are quite feasible.

There is a special loan offered to the NIBM students which are given by Punjab National Bank whose interest cost is almost MCLR.

The campus is lush green and has natural beauty as it is full of flora as well as fauna. The gender ratio is almost equal to Seminars are organized in the campus which is addressed by various prominent bankers of India. There are various extracurricular activities take place comprising of a sports event, debate competitions and various other competitions which helps everyone to excel.

The hostel is good and facilities for water, sanitation, electricity, Wi-fi is provided. Every day the rooms are cleaned. Flats/Villa with 2 or 3 rooms is provided as hostels for students. Girls and boys hostels are separate. Maximum two students are provided with one room in hostels.

The alumni network is strong and the alumnus keeps guiding us to how to go way forward as well as the senior batches are quite helpful and supportive.

Firstly there was admission form which comes every year after the Common Admission Test (CAT) result comes which is mostly opens till the end date of March every year. Then the shortlist comes during mid of April which includes my name and was an intimation of dates at the end of April scheduled for Written Ability Test and Personal Interview.

The best faculties in the banking industry teach in NIBM. Many faculties have industry experience and many are consultants to consultancy projects of Reserve Bank of India, National Housing Board, many Public Sector Banks. They are a part of various committees as well.
