Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is designed keeping in mind the current requirements of banking and finance industry. The course is divided in 6 trimesters, 3 in each year. Beginning trimesters are the building blocks, they help to grasp the basics of finance and offer great help to non-commerce people.
Placement Experience
The major recruitment happens in the premier private banks of our country. To name a few Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank etc. Apart from banks students also got placed in rating agencies like CRISIL. Every year 100% students get placed.
College Events
Every now or then there's something happening or preparing for the events. Every festival is celebrated by students with full vigour and enthusiasm. The two main cultural and technical event that take place are Adhikosh-The management Fest and Colloquium- The Banking Conclave.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The total fees for the program are 1200000 including boarding and lodging in the hostel. Students need to pay additional for food on a monthly basis based on your billing which rarely exceeds 5000 a month. Break down of the fees and the time as and when it becomes due is also provided at the time of admission.
Fees and Financial Aid
College offers scholarship on merit cum means basis. Recently the sum of the scholarship is revised and details are not known to me.
Campus Life
Campus life is full of activity and cohesiveness. The lush green campus gives a soothing feel and you get a very big campus area to roam in. The gender diversity is almost 1:1 and we have a computer lab, separate common room for boys and girls. There are 9 societies and 2 clubs so far.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel fee is included in the program fee. The facilities available are 24*7 water, electricity and housekeeping. Wifi is available in the rooms. Most of the rooms are on a twin sharing basis. Hostel infrastructure is livable and spacious. Boys and girls hostel buildings are separate.
Alumni/Alumna
Being a member of the alumni committee I can tell you that we have a strong alumni base which is placed well in various banks and consulting firms. Many have climbed the ladder of AVP and other senior posts. There is two annual events, one is Alum Mélange- Alumni Meet wherein alumni are specially invited to share their thoughts with the current batch.
Admission
One of the mode to get admission is CAT score. Other sources include a score of XAT and CMAT. Shortlisting is done firstly on the basis of your Score in entrance exam followed by WAT, Group Discussion and Interview. The tentative dates so far for admission process remains around March 30, till which usually form remains open.
Faculty
The facilities are genuinely good and make best efforts to make things lucid and our concept strong. Most of the lecturers are PhD. holders and have an average experience of over a decade. There are faculties which were with great corporates before teaching which gives us the unique insights of the industry.
