Great place to study literature

The college is good and especially the english department. Everything is fine. There is discipline and strict regulations with clothes. There are designated people to help you out with any academic or official issues.

The course is well designed. It is almost similar to the one followed in Delhi University. There are end number of texts that will help you understand and cover major parts of english literature. The best part is that at the end of 3 years, you can aim for the top 10 indian colleges as the syllabus is somewhat same.

Placements are good. I was placed in Bristish telecom. A lot of companies come loke Wipro, TCS, Concentrics and they provide decent package. After a bachelor's degree you can expect a package of 2.5 to 3 lacks which is a good Return on investment as the fee is extremely low.

We had a lot of events, from retract society to nukkad natak, nobody will really force you to take part but you should it will keep you busy. We also had college fest in February every year. The fest is okay and you get to participate in lots of competition.it is also fun.

The fee structure is extremely feasible, the fees for my course was around 15k per year which is extremely cheap. You can pay fees in cash thourough bank or by card at the office. It is smooth and hassle free. The return on investment is really high and good.

No i did not require any loan as the fees was low. You can pay fees in two installments as well as there is only annual fees. You need to talk to the vice principal for that.

The campus was good and huge. The canteens are nice. We had two canteens. Hnc was my favorite. The crowd is really good for english department and overall college as well. We had alot of opportunity to take part in productive activities. There is no partiality with gender or social structure. The crowd is also decent.

No I did not opt for hostel because i lived in a private hostel near the college. It was a good hostel and I enjoyed staying there I am not very sure about college hostel as the occupancy is really high and beds are less.

I never got opportunity to speak to any passout while I was in college but seniors are really helpful. You will love your college days if you mix with people in college. I was lucky to have amazing support from my seniors but for that you need to build your own rapport.

I appeared for the entrance exam conducted by the college, it was a paper of english grammar and comprehension. It is very easy to crack if you have your basics in place though the competition is cut thouroat as a lot of people apply. There after the results are declared. You need to visit the site regularly as everything is published there and college does not really support personal intimation about the results or admission.

English literature department has the best faculty and quality from the college, we had almost 10 to 12 professors and also had some external visits. Teachers are extremely experienced and they push you to do some extra homework from your end because at the end you are no more in school.
