Remarks

College management should definitely take active steps to correct the responsibility of non-teaching staffs towards the benefits of the students. Their cooperation is also required for the overall betterment.

Entrance Preview

No entrance exam. Admission was done on the basis of marks obtained in Higher Secondary examination of West Bengal board.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum was very good. Detailed subjects were covered. Teachers were very much helpful and provided sufficient support for all quarries. Paper details were provided at the beginning of every session.

Internships Opportunities

I didn't apply for any stipend hence I'm not aware of that. But at the end of each year before & after the final exams many IT companies used to come for campassing. Like WIPRO,TCS,CTS,IBM and many more.

Placement Experience

2.5

Job opportunities were great in term of big companies. But there was a problem in the recruitment of the average students. There was almost no opportunities left for them.

College Events

1.5

Welcome festivals were arranged every year for the new comers. There was also a fest in the winter time for the whole college where all the students and teachers used to participate equally.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was a little bit higher at that time. There was a joining fee along-with a monthly fee. The fee was transacted through the local AXIS bank branch.

Fees and Financial Aid

There was no loan facility in my college. But there was scholarship for the economically backwarded students and SC,ST,OBCs.

Campus Life

3

Campus life was not much enjoyable. Laboratory facilities were good but the lab assistants' behaveior was very bad and not at all supportive towards the students.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

There was no hostel facility provided from the college. But the members of the student union used to provide reference of local PG & rent options.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students were helpful towards the present students. But one passed out most of the students didn't make any contact with the college due to their busy professional life.

Exam Structure

Exam structure was very good indeed. Starting from setting up the question to the evaluation of answer papers everything was so perfect that none could raise a question.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty were very good. Inspite of their degrees they were very much responsive to the students for the improvements. They did their best to inspire each and every student everyday.

Placement Experience:

Placements and job oppurtinities are less since this is an undergraduate college offwering honours degree. Though there is a placement and career councelling cell that looks over this matter. Placements are offered only in a few subjects, such as industrial chemisrty and computer science. The rate of placements are very high and come with high packages. Though I am not interested in placements, but I have started taking preparations for compititive exams. Such preparations are very supported here, rather than jobs and placements.
