Remarks

The college management is terrible, irresponsible and can be very much improved

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The college is a vtu affiliated college and the curriculum is vtu syllabus. The syllabus we study are totally irrelevant to the industry requirements. The laboratories we practice/ study are outdated. Solidedge is an outdated software that we still study as part of our curriculum

Placement Experience

1.5

The college was started recently and the the placements are non existent. There are some software and IT based companies that come and recruit

College Events

3

Almost all events are celebrated in this college. But the fests just are one of the worst. The terrible fests are due to the lack of funds by the college management. They also celebrated Kannada rajyotsava this year which is appreciable. There is also a 3 days sports event

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is feasible under government quota but the management seats not so much. When joined under the government quota the cost was 70,000 a year and management seat cost around 3,00,000. But the management quota is around 3 times that amount now

Fees and Financial Aid

There is also a government scholarship. It covers based on the caste you're in. If you're a SC/ST category student you get around 50,000, if you're backward class category student you get around 18,000. If you're a general category you get nothing

Campus Life

3

The campus atmosphere is calm and silent apart from the occasional trucks passing by. Ragging does exist but not to a series extent where it was a serious offense. Just some seniors having some fun. If the students are interested the department do help you out with extra curriculars

Alumni/Alumna

Not much can be said about the alumni. I don't think I've ever met a senior thourough the alumni. I don't think it is actively conducted

Admission

First there is an entrance exam called CET and we get admitted based on the cut off ranks. There is also a management quota which costs 10 times as much. Getting a government quota seat is much better bbecause the management quotas of other reputed colleges cost the same

Faculty

3

They are good, but can get better faculties. There are some really good professors but some rotten tomatoes in the bunch as well. The English of some professors are good but some are just terrible at speaking in English. Almost half of all the professors in my department have a phd

Programming and courses that are useful in future jobs made me choose this course. Areas that need to be worked are only some outdated syllabus, topics and smartboards need to be installed. Exams are given right on time making us easier to tackle syllabus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would give complete 100 marks for my course. As the artificial intelligence is trending and most used now, the scope for my course has been increased rapidly. This was one of the reason why I opted for this course. We will be given three internal exams in one semester and two internal lab exams in one semester. We are continously involved in workshops ans seminars to gain knowledge on real world applications along with our academics.
