Remarks

The management was well experiences as it was an college which accommodated students from all over the world. They had a very systematic way of things being carried out.

Entrance Preview

I didn't appear for any entrance exam, it was an centralized admission process. I was happy to get an seat in this college as had good reviews about the faculty and range of subjects they offered.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

English was an compulsory subject and we had an option to choose the subjects of our choice. I chose was history, Sociology and i opted major in english literature.

Internships Opportunities

We at the arts and humanitarian faculty did not have this option at our college. I believe the science faculty had the option though. But the professors at out department also guided us about various options we had after graduation.

Placement Experience

3

The course i had opted for did not have this option. There were different seminars and speakers from different fields invited at our college to give us an idea about what career options we had after the course.

College Events

4.5

For this parameter our college would score a 10. various festivals, exhibitions, seminars, lectures, events and programs were conducted. I even participated in some events and was a great experience to get a platform to perform.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees were pretty feasible. My tuition fees were about annual of 10,000 INR. apart from this we had to spend on text books. We also had huge library which had all the reference books.

Fees and Financial Aid

There were various scholarships given. I am not aware had a loan facility. I received an scholarship for music for one year.

Campus Life

4.5

The campus was buzzing with life it was a very lively place and the energy of the place itself made us feel very enthusiastic about things at college in general. there were groups to address such issues as discrimination and injustice, or unfair practices. I personally did not face any event that reflected such a thing. We had students from all over the world. I personally knew one from Vietnam and Oman and they both said they felt safe and comfortable in the college campus.

Hostel Facilities

3

I was not using the hostel facility nor the mess. but there was a canteen in the campus, where in we could go for eating. but it had limited menu so we hardly went to the canteen. I remember the college building, it was a Victorian architecture and it felt grand and privileged to be there. There were many trees around and had wonderful birds chirping around.

Alumni/Alumna

I am still in touch with couple of friends form my batch and we make it a point to meet near the campus if we are all in town the alumni network is good and for some functions at college the relevant ex students are invites. There is an block in the campus dedicated to the ex-Ferguson association.

Exam Structure

The arts course had only 2 exams in the year. so it was chilled out in our department. And by out teachers initiative we were asked to prepare and give presentations over the topic that was covered before.

Faculty

3

The teachers were well qualified and gave us an insight to the subject. they knew well how to present the topic. Some of the lectures i still remember.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is neither difficult nor easy. It is a good curriculum for even an average student. The teacher mostly used the traditional teaching method. It needs to be improved. The exam's difficulty level is not so high again good for average students

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculam is designed for all round development of the student and to make that person an expert in that field, these aspects influeneced me to choose it. Very well, with extra paper of real world application on each subject it ensures that we take something from the course and become industry ready The teachings methods and cirriculam are excellent I don't think any changes are required Exams are all year round, every month and are extremly difficult to deal with, as Xavier's bar is very high.
