CSE from Chandigarh University

The only bad thing about my university is 75% attendance.

In CU you can opt for many specialization courses of CSE like Big Data, Artificial intelligence, IoT, Mobile Computing. The syllabus is designed by Many Heads of Departments of many Multinational companies. Which is being updated every year. The exam is a semester wise. in May and in November.

In the last 3 years as per my knowledge, CSE students have 100% placements with an average package of 850000, the highest package is 31.7 LPA and the minimum package is 4.5 LPA.

Every year we have a CUFEST AND A TECHNICAL FEST in our University. In whom every student get a chance to show his/her talent as there are multiple stages are set in our university for many events whether it be culture, technical or any activities. Last year Punjab Youth fest is also held in our University.

As compared with other Universities in this region our University fees are very low. And also you can avail many scholarships for reducing your fees. And the most important fact is that after getting offer letter of any multinational company the fees look so low. Also, we can apply for a loan also.

Yes, college offers so many scholarship programs but I was not eligible for any of them at the time of admission.

In CSE Department male: female ratio is 3:5. I am fully satisfied with labs in our department with Wi-Fi facility also. Every year we have a sports day celebrated in our college And also students who play for university get extra benefits. Time to time various workshops are held for students.

In simple words 9/10 for hostel facilities. As I have many childhood friends who are studying in other universities, they used to tell me the stories of their hostel about food, no restrictions, ragging and many more I am very much satisfied with my hostel.

Yes being a hosteller seniors support and suggestions help me a lot for these 3 years in this university.

I gave CUSAT exam online then I came to the college and got admission on the basis of my score and 12 marks. I choose BE(CSE) as it is in demand these days. I am very happy after taking admission here. Faculty is very helpful and cooperative. I stay in the University hostel. Food is very good.

We have 110 faculty in CSE Department. And the average age will be late 30's and all have done M.Tech(CSE) and some are doing PHD and half of the faculty are doctorates. Time to time various workshops, Expert lectures are being held in our department for the students.
