College management depends upon the the student union body elected for that year.

The college is AICTE approved and we have TEQIP 3 in our college so the curriculum and exam structure is same as the rest of all central government colleges. Our college is under the Assam Science and Technology University which is not only research driven but focuses and gives more importance to practical lessons than theory.

We have to do minimum 3 internships in the 4 year duration of BTech. The campus placement is not great but it is not bad either. Maximum placements for mechanical and Computer science engineering students. But mostly companies hire thourough GATE.

We have a 2 day technical fest in the month of November called Technovous and a 3 day cultural fest in the month of March called Phoenix. We also have a sports week in February and other small events are constantly celebrated. But our college has the North East's best quiz fest called Braingrill.

Very feasible. Semester fees is 2000, sometimes it may vary according to other needs of each semester students but it usually ranges around 1500- 2500. Admission fees is 10000 taken during time of admission only. Hostel fees is different for each hostel but very feasible.

The state government offers scholarships, not colleges. And these scholarships are for students with a minimum of 75% in 12th grade and a family annual income of less than 4 lakhs. The average sum for each semester is 50k

Labs are great here. They are always open and the teachers usually live in campus or nearby and they are always there for you. Campus life is very peaceful as we have a lake in our campus and greenery everywhere like countryside. We have different clubs and societies for extracurricular activities and sports.

Yes. Hostels are allotted to students and they can't choose them. There are 8 boys hostel and 2 girls hostel. The hostels have been recently renovated. We have our own hostel fields common rooms, gym and many other facilities. The mess is not great but at least it is hygienic.

We have an Alumni forum and our Alumni network is very strong, active and helpful. They are very interactive with us.

I gave the state entrance exam CEE, scored 130 marks out of 360 and underwent admission counseling and according to my rank we were given admission in our respective colleges and branches. This process is only for the state government colleges of the state and you must possess a PRC to sit in the exam

Faculty is really great as most of them work under TEQIP 3 and they work very hard for us as well as indulge in online classrooms. They help us take part in projects outside the curriculum and take interest in students who reciprocate the enthusiasm for such projects.
