Awesome college

I didn't appear for any entrance exam. I was intersted in studying business management. Also I wanted to pursue MBA afterwards so BBA created good basis for that. I had other options for graduation but BBA was most suitable to my interest.

It was very comprehensive and provided good basis for pursuing career in business management. All related subject areas were covered like HR,Marketing,Finance, Economics,Principles of Management.

I did my internship with Ralson tyre manufacturing Co. This was my first ever experience in corporate world. Very informative and quiet a learning experience. Stipend-2000.

Good placements Asian Paints,Ralson,Apollo etc came for placements. Package 4 to 8 lakhs there were lot of other big companies which approached campus like Wipro, TCS,HUL.

Annual day to celebrate annual achievements of college and students 200 to 500 audienc Rang Manch Dramatics competition plays Founder's Day dance events 200 to 500 GK Quiz contest to test the GK of students.

Semi annual fee Rs. 7000 that makes an annual fee of 14000. Fees has to be submitted semi annually. I think it's feasible. Almost all the major colleges in the vicinity were haveing a comparable fee structure.

No there was no official communication as to loan facilities or scholarships. But there was a trust to help needy students with fees and provide books at discounted rates.

Gender Ratio was highly upset as it was first year of Co educationLots of extra curicullar activities that included debates,declamatons,presentations,plays. Campus is haveing very good infrastructure to support sports like badminton,cricket etc.

Hostel was average as when I joined DAV it was the first year of Co education. They were not haveing a girls hostel at that time so we were shifted to polytechnic college girls hostel Mess was average too. Food was very spicy.

College seniors were really cheerful and helpful. Apart from a small friendly ragging session the very first day they were really goood and nice. They helped us a lot in understanding campus life better and introducing us to the lecturers.

It was chilled out environment. Flexible study hours. We were haveing semester system in DAV college. There were preperatory exam and casual class tests as well before final exams.

Very good very cooperative and they had very creative ways of delivering lectures that helped students to understand the subject better. We were haveing a very good equation with all the faculty members. They use to guide us on personal issues as well. Personal development of students was also focused on.
