Chandigarh University, great in academics

I have been at this university for almost 3 years and liked a lot of things about this university. I really like the campus, infrastructure, academics, fests, and events. The college management is also very considerate towards the problems or issues of students.

Our academic curriculum is very well designed, there are regular tests, assignments are given, pop quizzes, presentations, etc which help us learn more ad gain more knowledge. There are also industry visits organized for the students where we visit the field and get a chance to learn more about the industry.

Our college has a 100% placement record so far. We get both internship and placement opportunities with one of the best industry players. Top travel and tourism companies come to the department for placement drives providing good salary packages. We also get international internship opportunities like Walt Disney.

Other than academics, Chandigarh University also hosts one of the best events and fests. Bollywood nights, Lives concerts, Sports Day. Tourism Day is celebrated in our department with great pomp and show where all the students actively take part and showcase their skill and talent.

The fees depend on the course but the fee structure of my course is quite feasible according to tot the course. The fees are not very expensive it is fair enough and is right according to the curriculum and facilities provided for the course like practical labs, industrial visits, etc.

Yes there us a scholarship facility for the students, the eligibility criteria depend according to the scholarship like Sports Scholarship.

Our university not only gives importance to academics but also to co-curricular activities as well. I really like the campus, it's very green and clean. The student crowd of the university is also very good. Our university has a separate sports complex where various sports tournaments and activities are organized.

Our seniors always have been very helpful and have guided us when it comes to handling any event, exams, activities. The alumni network is also very good, the university organizes alumni meet for the passed students.

I got admission in this college on the basis of my 12th marks, there was no entrance exam as such. There was a counselling session with the admission department where we're told about the course, curriculum, activities, rules, and regulations of the university. I joined this course because I have always been fond of travel and wanted to make a career in this line.

The lecturers of our department are experienced, knowledgeable, helpful and many of them also have industry experience which helps us learn more. We are taught through presentations, lectures, activities, etc, regular tests are organized to ensure regular leaning.
