Remarks

The college all over is good, you can get to know a variety of people from all parts of society. The exposure with other students here will help you develop as a person in the society. You will make some good friends here. The college might not give you the college life you expect but you will enjoy your time here. Studies are not a big burden you can pass your exams with basic efforts in your studies. You will just lack the exposure academically and professionally which you could have got from any college outside jodhpur.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course structure is good. 8 subjects in first 4 semesters, thereafter 6 subjects per semester. The course is as per the bar council rules and similar to any other college in India. There are regular projects and moot file submissions thouroughout the sem, whose marks add up in your internal marking. You also get to learn French also as a foreign language. Attendance is chilled out.

Placement Experience

0.5

There is no placement cell or any job opportunities from this college, you will have to find your own way. No, College does not provide any internships, but since you are in city of principal bench High court and college attendance won’t become a burden you can do plenty of internships here.

College Events

2.5

There is a yearly cultural fest which lasts 3 days, only faculty students can become part of it. However, it depends on the president of law faculty to conduct the fest or not in the span of our 5 years in law faculty we witnessed only 2 fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is quiet feasible if you compare it to other 5 year law colleges. I am not exactly sure about the tuition fee, But its approximately 40000-45000? for 1year i.e. 2 sems. You can complete your law degree in 4Lakh approx, which is quiet good.

Fees and Financial Aid

I did not avail any loan facility neither do I know of any. But there is merit scholarship which again I have no Idea of. I was never a meritorious student. However, any bank might provide education loan for this college with the basic procedure which they follow.

Campus Life

2

The gender ratio is decent. However male population is more than the females here. There are no Student parties, workshops or cultural societies. Jodhpur is a grade 3 city of India so there isn’t much evolution of liberal views in people here. Quiet otrhodox and backward in terms of societal views. However with the new generation of students coming in college I believe that might change eventually.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

No, I did not opt for any hostel. I don’t know particularly about the hostel fees and rate of hostel. But there are 2-3 hostel available. I am a local so I used to live in my own house only transportation was the expense that I had to pay.

Alumni/Alumna

There is no alumni network in this college either. However, if you seek help from seniors they are helpful i.e. on their personal capacity. The ones i am in touch with give good guidance whenever needed. But the alumni isn’t strong particularly from the 5 year degree course. The law faculty however has produced most of the Highcourt judges currently in Jodhpur.

Admission

The admission process as of now is based on your percentage in 12th board. A merit list is prepared, students from RBSE are given some % benefit rather than people from other boards. Along with the basic reservation to backward classes.

Faculty

4

The faculty is well qualified and good, although there is only a few permanent faculty but the guest faculties who come to teach are excellent. Most of the guest faculties are senior and respected lawyers of the Rajasthan High court. Who have plenty of experience in their fields which gives a great help in understanding the concepts.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Thr curriculum is designed in a way as a usual law college but the benefit of this college is that we have legal aid clinic , which the students have the opportunity to join. In curriculum we also have variety of electives till 4th yearof college. Which i think is good as students might get the opportunity to explore other subjects related to law and not related to law. The exams are held twice a semester and the difficulty level depends upon the faculty setting the question paper. Usually the difficulty level is of othe law universities. For improvement wise i dont have any suggestions

Placements from the campus for law students is not that good and honestly I don't think the student should rely on the campus placements instead they can participate in different events and improve their CV for getting a good job . The internships play a vital role in the career of a law students . Law students mainly focus on the judiciary exams and if not that then they can go for the corporate sector or litigation after that . Else they can also prepare for other exams such as UPSC or also go for higher education
