Course Curriculum Overview

4

Thr curriculum is designed in a way as a usual law college but the benefit of this college is that we have legal aid clinic , which the students have the opportunity to join. In curriculum we also have variety of electives till 4th yearof college. Which i think is good as students might get the opportunity to explore other subjects related to law and not related to law. The exams are held twice a semester and the difficulty level depends upon the faculty setting the question paper. Usually the difficulty level is of othe law universities. For improvement wise i dont have any suggestions

Internships Opportunities

5

The internship opportuinity provided by the college is 1. Law firms 2. NGO 3. Advocates office In these area the college will be providing internship also if any student wants to do their own they can do it.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of the college for our batch was 197000 for the whole year. Ths scholarship depends upon the marks scored in 12 class for the first year if you have 90 percentage then you will get a scholarship upto 25 percentage. And from second year onwards it will be depended upon the GPA you score.

Campus Life

5

There are varieties of clubs within the department like sports, cultural, dance, debate, moot court, etc . The student run club is the placement cell of the college. The college has a annual fest in which every depatment takes participation. Also there are other fest organized by each department and date is not fixed it can change. Each department has library and the books we get is varied in nature. There are no shortage of any subjects. The library we have contains enough books to study and write the exams. The college provides us to take laptop in classes to write notes. The one thing about this campus is it is a paper free campus . The exams we write is in a epad system.

Hostel Facilities

5

The room is of different types . Single sharing , double sharing , triple sharing and 4 sharing rooms. Wach has it own fees. I have opted triple sharing with common bathroom. In this we get a table chair cupboard and a shelf for ourselves. In 4 sharing there are rooms with ACs and attached bathroom. The room will be cleaned by the room cleaners. Which will be done once in 2 days. The registration process is by we have to show the admission details to the hostel wardens and from there they will guode you. If you want to rent a room or pg there are pg near to bagalur cross in yelahanka , bagalore.

Admission

The colleges I have applied are more than 10 and I got accepted to most of it. Except 2 because i couldn't make it upto their marks. The reasom why i chose this college is because it was more closer to my hometown. The admission process is an interview taken by the department and the score of 12 class. They also accept clat scores.

Faculty

4

The faculties of the college are approachable, they will help you during the college timings. There are 2 examination per semester one is mid-semester examination which is of 25 marks and end term examination which is of 50 marks. There is an internal assignment which carries 25 marks. For a student to clear a semester he will have to have minimum 40 percent of the total 100 marks. Also attendance is an important criteria for examination if you have less than 75 percent you will no be able to write the exam of the subject in which you have low attendance. A student in first year have to clear 6 papers out of 12 in order to go to next year, but he will have to write the paper and clear it in due course of time. I wouldbnot like to disclose faculty name but I'll say for us now thefaculty of constitution law is very good, the faculty teaches us in a way that constitution you guys might be knowing is a theoretical subject, this faculty makes it interesting by teaching this subject. Also comapany law and the business subjects faculties are good.

Placement Experience:

Placements from the campus for law students is not that good and honestly I don't think the student should rely on the campus placements instead they can participate in different events and improve their CV for getting a good job . The internships play a vital role in the career of a law students . Law students mainly focus on the judiciary exams and if not that then they can go for the corporate sector or litigation after that . Else they can also prepare for other exams such as UPSC or also go for higher education
