Course Curriculum Overview

4

Amity provides additional subjects such as Behavioural Science and Foreign language and courses which enhances the personality of the student. The mainstream subjects are also there and the moot practice is also supported for preparing the student for real world applications. Course curriculum is fine in my opinion but the teaching method can be improved by focusing more on the practical knowledge rather than the theory . The exams are conducted in semester system and each semester has a duration of 4-5 months . The exams does not last more than 2 or 3 weaks .

Placement Experience

2.5

Placements from the campus for law students is not that good and honestly I don't think the student should rely on the campus placements instead they can participate in different events and improve their CV for getting a good job . The internships play a vital role in the career of a law students . Law students mainly focus on the judiciary exams and if not that then they can go for the corporate sector or litigation after that . Else they can also prepare for other exams such as UPSC or also go for higher education

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee for the first semester is 78000 and students get the scholarship based on the result of class 12th . Such as 100% scholarship for students who have scored above approximate 94% and 50% for those who have scored above 88% and 25% for those who have scored about 80% approximately. The fees then increases by 10000 as the student pass to the next year . The complete education cost including academic , hostel and food calcite's around 300000 yearly for the first year . And 10% increase every year . The fees is bit high but not very high when compared to other private colleges .

Campus Life

4

So many events and fests are conducted here by different clubs and committees. Events like E summit , Oddssey , etc . Events like trial advocacy and moot court competition are also conducted . Oddssey is the main event in which the celebrity is invited to the college which helds I the month of February to April . The sports events are also conducted . SANGATHAN is the event in which different departments compete with each other and the chosen players go for MAHASANGATHAN which is held in Amity University Noida . The event named SHAURYAMANTHAN is also organised in which different colleges who gets the invitation from AUR takes participation and cash prizes are awarded to the teams who wins

Hostel Facilities

2.5

AC rooms and non AC rooms are provided in the hostel and six people are given a flat which has three rooms ( 2 students in one room) and one flat has a common washroom and a common area for use . The hostel room is given with an almirah , a bed , a chair , mattress, bed sheets , pillow covers and a pillow per student . The laundry services are free . The hostel rooms are not big enough and the sharing of washroom is between 6 people which is a disadvantage. The hostel fee does not include food . The mess and other food outlets are available for the students and every time they eat , they have to take a coupon for that . The quality of food is really good in the mess or be it any other outlet . The hostel rooms could have been better depending on the charges . The students are asked to leave the hostel room with all their belongings after the end of the year . For the students who wants stay out of the campus they can take flats or rooms in Achrol or in Jaipur

Admission

I didn't gave any entrance for admission into this university. I just filled the registration form and payed 30000 for reserving my seat . Applications starts in the month of April or May . For eligibility the student should have passed 12th with percentage above 45% . The admission process is fast and I don't think any improvement needs to be done in that .

Faculty

3.5

The faculty here is really good . All of them have good qualifications and almost all of them are Ph D holders . Also students have their mentors to whom they can communicate about anything like guidance, any complaints, concerns ,etc . The faculty feedback form is also asked from the students and need to be filled on Amizon .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Thr curriculum is designed in a way as a usual law college but the benefit of this college is that we have legal aid clinic , which the students have the opportunity to join. In curriculum we also have variety of electives till 4th yearof college. Which i think is good as students might get the opportunity to explore other subjects related to law and not related to law. The exams are held twice a semester and the difficulty level depends upon the faculty setting the question paper. Usually the difficulty level is of othe law universities. For improvement wise i dont have any suggestions
