Remarks

Though our college was good with management and teaching. It was lacking in promoting innovation in students and there was a sense of lack of freedom in the college.

Entrance Preview

Joining in our college does not require any entrance examination. It is on first come first serve basis. So I did not give any exam.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Our course consisted of three major subjects, Botany, Zoology and chemistry. Along with that English and one optional language between Telugu, Hindi and Sanskrit. We had other elective subjects like Fundamentals in information technology, Indian history and culture, Maths for competetive exams, Food technology, Environmental science etc.

Internships Opportunities

We did not had any internship in our college. So I did not had any intership experience. I wished that there was some internship oppurtunities during our college.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements in our college are relatively better than other colleges our city. But most of the placements are for the students who are studying computer science in their bachelors course.

College Events

4.5

We have a huge cultural event called SPOORTHI that is usually celebrated every year in October. This has dance, music, quiz, essay writing, personality and various other competitions. We also have a ethnic day during which all the students celebrate their ethnicity in various ways.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is very feasible most of the courses have fees less than ten thousand per year. There are many poor students in our college who could not even afford that. So some of them were give scholarship also.

Fees and Financial Aid

I did not avail any scholarship. But there are scholarships for poor students. They get benefit from these scholarships.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus life was good and extracurricular activities were also good. But the problem was we were treated as school children. Girls and boys were not allowed to actively engage in any sort of conversation. Girls were not allowed to wear jeans. Girls were restricted only to chudidars.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

We have two hostels and both hostels were neatly maintained and food quality is really good for the amount they charge per month.

Alumni/Alumna

Our college has a huge alumni network. Many of the senior students still interact with us and we share our experiences with our juniors. Our alumni also consisted of many prominent personalities of our state, so I w=must say that our college has a vast alumni network.

Exam Structure

We have semester end exams and two mid semester exams in between each with a gap of two and half months.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty of the college was good in teaching but they would not discuss any new ideas or new projects. The main thing that was lacking in most of our faculty was they would not regularly update their knowledge.

Placement Experience:

There are placement opportunities offered in the University but it is pretty low compared to private Universities. Companies like TCS, jio mart, Ramoji Film City often visit here for placements. As far as I heard the highest placement offered was 6LPA to an economics student. I plan to do MBA after my Retail management course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The quality education along with life values and spiritual discipline that one needs in life is provided. This is not found in quality, elsewhere. The course is designed and planned very well throughout the semester. Each paper is dealt with in-depth. The majors that one chooses in the final year helps students to explore more projects and open-ended experiments The university maintains a 1:40 teacher to student ratio. Each student is individually monitored and guided by professors. The university makes sure to hire teachers only with good teaching experience and with a Ph.D. Their explanation and concept delivery are at par with excellence. The term exams are conducted on time. The midterm exams start around 1 months after the beginning of sem. Along with the theoretical exams, one has to also pass in practicals. There is no grace marking in any case. One cannot expect important questions and related priorities in the paper. The only time to time preparation and a strong grip on concepts help.
