Remarks
Management is quite decent which takes care of everyone whether it is students or faculties or even staffs.
Course Curriculum Overview
As far I Am concerned course curriculum is compact and exam are being held in such a way that you will not get board. As teaching is research based bcoz you are in institute of national importance. Undoubetdly, you will be industry oriented by yourself because it is the place where comptetition never ends. Institute consists of own placement cell which provides various help in placements in giant companies like microsoft, amazon, etc. Industrial visits are frequent and proven meaningful bcoz they provided internships, etc.
Placement Experience
Placement is decent in my institute as average package goes above 9-10 lakhs per annum. Last year here big names from market such as amazon and microsoft had recruited 6 technocrats with package of 42 lakh p.a. Here placement holds 96-97 % per year. As institute consist of own placement cell which prepare the students and help them in various aspects of interview.
College Events
Well if you are looking for graduation from MANIT as fun then you are right place because it organise biggest technical and cultural festivals of central India namely TECHNOSEARCH and MAFFICK which lasts for 3 days each and each year a huge Response from students are recieved to be a part of any event that held under these because every event is full of so much excitement and fun no one stays in hostel to miss them. And every year students witness the legendary artists performing live in front of them in both of the above festivals.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Since it is government college so fee is minimal and fesible, if not then there is loan facility provided by bank inside the campus. As the fee is paid only by online mode and to MhourD so no corruption is possible. Only additional charges for mess are requested but it is very less as it is the only college which provides food for just 25 rs per meal. Since, you had to pay your fee online so it is totally transparent and a every details of fee is provided to students along with their parents.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, as institute gives relaxation upto 100% in tution fee for economically weaker ones. Apart from these, institute has scholarship section which provides various help in availing scholarship offered by various authorties all across in india consisting state and national government.
Campus Life
As it is engeering college which dominate the gender ratio to male section but it is changing very rapidly as girls are also keeping interest in this field. Apart from gender ratio, there is so much to explore as it comprises in 650 acres of vast area where we always see yourself busy in some kind of stuff, because there are variius technical and cultural societies which organises workshop in every 2-3 weeks and after that event about which every one is always thourilled.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, I opted for hostel and these hostels are too good for charge they ask as rent. Since, in each room one has to share room with two of its partners. These are equipped with fast wifi along with LAN facililty. Providing 24x7 electricity with running waters and 24 complex hall. And 4 common halls used for varius gatherings and plays. It also consist of inhouse mess. P. S. There are 11 hostels like that. So there is no shortage of living space.
Alumni/Alumna
As you get inside the college you will find seniors waiting for you Not for ragging but to interact with you which proves helpful with sorting matters with professors and even groups of alumni visits campus time to time to share their experiences and struggle. IT also has Manit Alumni ConnecT[MACT] which provides students to become a part of this network of alumni and it holds workshops, etc.
Admission
I was always fascinated about technical stuffs so I'd chosen Btech as a graduation field and MANIT Bhopal acts as a platform according to your ability[entrance exam score] to percieve the same. First of all you should qualify jee mains, one of the toughest exam in India. After that sit in councelling round and then take admission.
Faculty
Honestly, Faculties are quite experinced but not all are upto that level which are apppointed to teach freshmen as we gotta attend 30-35 lectures of each subject Which are taught by professors of age 45+. BTW faculties from second year are well experienced as most of them had written numerous research papers.
