Remarks

The college is good for industrial tours, technical, management, and cultural festivals and the bad thing about the college is the lack of experienced faculty and campus placements.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum and exam structure are relevant, research-driven, and fair. It includes lab practicals, project works, and industrial training which made us access to industry knowledge and helped in securing campus placements, and every year industrial visit to sccl company is organized for the students.

Placement Experience

1.5

No companies visited our campus for their placement drives in my course. As I am a mining student sccl is the only company to do the job, this company never conducts placement drives. No one got placement as there is no campus selection for my course.

College Events

3

The college holds very well in technical, cultural, management festivals. The college conducts them very big and in a vast area which makes us feel enthusiastic to participate in the festivals and we all perform well in the party wholeheartedly. The college conducts dance programs and games at these festivals also they award the students with prizes.

Fee Structure And Facilities

They take a 90000 fee for the year and the mode of payment is only offline accepted by the college for the same. There will be additional fees/charges like condonation fees, fines for not wearing a uniform, using mobiles, and absence from class. To secure admission for my course I have paid 10000 rupees. college never provided transparency in the fee breakdown.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, The college offers scholarship opportunities to students. The eligibility is the student should have an annual income of less than 1 lakh. Which is verified with the help of the income certificate of the student. For the scholarship, I applied in meeseva with all my certificates adhaar card, and income certificate regarding my complete biodata.

Campus Life

3.5

The campus life is so good in my college. The gender ratio is M: F is 3:1. The college provides extracurricular activities every weekend. Labs in my college are huge and clean with all equipment required for experiments for industrial practical knowledge. Sports are conducted in the last 2 days of the weekend. Debates are conducted on weekends and robotics are conducted yearly once in college. There is no student diversity and tolerance with regards to gender ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, politics, and economic status.

Hostel Facilities

2

The annual hostel fee in my college is 40000 rupees. The hostel is for girls and boys in separate blocks. The hostel rooms are pretty good. They are of sharing type. For each room maximum of 4 students are allotted. If the seats are filled in college then students stay in PG's nearby the college with an average rental of 4000 per month. But the bad thing about the hostel is the food quality and taste are not as expected.

Alumni/Alumna

At first, seniors raged us but in a friendly way. At starting I felt scared with my seniors but later I felt so happy with them they helped me with subject doubts and career planning with my course.

Admission

I got admission to this college by attending ecet, it is an entrance test for BTech lateral entry which is conducted every year in the month of April or May. After the entrance test, I got my results in the next 15 days then I have passed through certificate verification after I chose a few of the colleges in web counseling, so on random, I got this college for my course and rank.

Faculty

3

My course has 6 lecturers they are of average age and well qualified as per the hierarchy but they unable to provide clarity about the subject to the students as they don't have any experience in teaching before. The lecturers have industry experience and certifications.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It has regulations which is very comprehensive in covering the theoretical and fundamental concept or aspects of the engineering subjects. It includes strong core foundation in math, phy and very imp programming languages i.e core subjects. It has a guaranteed university recogniton like JNTUH. It should be improved in the teaching methords and conduct more workshops so that it'll be a practical experience for students to learn best. Jntu correction scheme is very strict.

Placement Experience:

During 3-1 , we get only one internship i.e JPMC offering 75,000 per month which is of 3-month internship. Thhis year it took around 16 students. through coding round, hire vue interview and the hackathon process. I was selected to hackathon but sadly due to communication skills lack, I was not selected as intern , although I passed coding round, hire vue interview and entered hackathon. From 4-1 onwards we get placement oppurtunities like Deloitte, Chubb, oracle, DE Shaw, etc companies visit and offer good package only.

Placement Experience:

The best part of the college is its placement of the college. Almost all companies visit the campus, including Google, Microsoft, Adobe, and almost all. The average percentage of the college is around 85 percent. In Chemical engineering, the placement is a little bit, it's around 90 percent. I'm planning for placements on the Software side.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is accurate and relevant as well. This helps the students to have good knowledge and grip on current scenarios, and it also helps to survive and get placement.Tge frequency of the exams is 45 or 50 days each. And it is not so difficult because the faculty teach in a proper and understandable way in which the students can understand and attempt the exams . Coming to teaching methods, every class is having a smart screen and projector as well for better understanding.
