College experience

The infrastructure needs development. Labs need to be well equipped. Food of the mess needs drastic changes. Faculty also need to be more experienced and open.Wifi needs to be installed in the campus.

Course gives you ample space for research and labs of our college is ok not great. The infrastructure needs more development.From this course you will get knowledge about agricultural Economics, marketing,finance. With this course you will have good knowledge of how to increase the yield of crops.

Our college does give internship at KVK for the development of farmers. Fertilizers pesticides companies generally comes in the campus for placement. As I am currently studying in the college in 1st year I don't have much knowledge about it. In the later years I can have more information on it. Majority of students go for higher studies.

Cultural activities are done on Saraswati Puja,Teachers day etc. Debate competition,annual agrifest, different talent show. All different branches of University students participate in it. It is quite a good event.

6330 rs per semester. Very affordable. At the time of admission they take 18890 but from 2nd semester 6330 rupees is required. Quite feasible.Mess charges are not included. 3000 per month extra for food we need to spend for it.

Our college do provide a stipend of 3000 per month to every student who scores above 7 OGPA. We get scholarship at the end of each semester by fulfilling the above criteria. There is more stipend for pg students.

Sports day is held annually. Inter college day is also celebrated. students from all over the country comes here. There is great diversity in the batch but strong unity. generally student come from middle class background.

Hostel room are quite good, washouroom is also very clean. Hostel rooms have capacity of 3 persons each. In total our hostel have 105 boys capacity. There are 3 boys Hostel and 3 girls hostel.we have a common room where tv some chairs are there for entertainment.

I have not yet interacted that much with the seniors. But seniors here are of no use. They will just have entertainment from you. Not much help is required from them. Because if you study well no need of any help from anyone.

One can get the admission by giving a entrance test conducted by NTA ICAR. Physics chemistry biology maths questions are asked in MCQ form.200 MCQ needs to be attempted. The exam is conducted by NTA. It is based on 10+2 curriculum. Each MCQ carries 3 marks.

New faculty are good but the old one are not great they just deliver the speech and go. Teacher needs more practical knowledge. Teacher are orthodox teaching methods. They need new method to enthusiasm in the students.
