My college - [VNRVJIET], Hyderabad

Our college can be stressful at times. But it is fun to associate with new people all around experience with every aspect of life. It is very helpful in the overall development of people and helps with their social skills.

We have 4 years of total study. With 8 semesters. Each semester has 2 exams, one being 30 marks exams which are called mid sem, and the other with 60 marks known as the end sem exams. We have 2 mids whose average gets added onto the end sem marks, we also have 10 marks for overall student performance. The marks will be evaluated accordingly and the cgpa is allotted.

We have a good intake of campus placements and every year 80 percentage of the students get placed into really prestigious companies. Yes, our college has tie-up with companies that take our tests and then take people in for internships.

We have a ton of cultural, sports, and technical fests. Sintillashunz is the cultural fest, and convergence is the technical fest. Along with convergence, we have a detailed list of other events every now and then to support them.

91 thousand per year is the annual tuition and other expenses are also present. There are hostel fees and mess fees. Apart from this, the students have to pay for their own stationery. Overall it is quite feasible.

Our college offers a full refund of the fee for merit students and they can avail full off when in between the course they can avail it anything they want. This is majorly for poor people who can't afford the fee.

We have a good infrastructure for sports. A whole sports complex is dedicated to this particular domain. We are the home to a majority of state players who have represented our college on national platforms and who have even gotten our names into some real sort after athletes. We have 4 indoor courts and 7 outdoor courts and our college helps to support us with any sport of our choice.

I have not opted for any hostel facilities. But there is a very little intake for people into our college hostel. Our college is closely located to a bunch of pgs and hostels so people can easily avail these facilities.

My seniors are very supportive. We connect with them with the help of student chapters and student clubs. They help us with their hand me done notes and are quite patient and friendly. Our seniors judge us on the basis of our intellect and not on the basis of the mistakes that shouldn't be used to describe people at any point in one's life.

Well, our college accepts people into it via three exams one being EAMCET which is basically a state-level test, and the other being mains which is a national test, and the other for NRI or NRI sponsored people. I am an NRI-sponsored person, so basically my admission depends upon the percentage I got in 12th grade.

Our faculty is quite friendly. They are helpful and diligent and they are a delight to work with. They are really supportive and will provide you with any sort of information that can help you with your course of study.
