The College have the best brand name in South India. So it may help the students for their future. They changes their syllabus in every 3 years, So, they could bring productive students to the market.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is integrated with ACCA. The students will get an exemption on 9 fundamental level papers of ACCA. Also they would've languages English and French in their first two semesters. The rest 4 professional level papers in their final year (3rd year). There'll also be subjects from Madras University for B.Com honours.
Placement Experience
There is placement for B. Com honours and they're preferred over the normal B. Com students. The students should do internship for each semester, that is, six internships. Till now I didn't got any stipend, because it was only for 15-30 days. The experience was productive in my 2nd and 3rd internships.
College Events
Ovations, intra College cultural competition. Department fest, inter College competition. Club activities Outreach and Foundation courses Enterpreneurship summits. Seminars and workshops in college. Rural camp visit.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Rupees 75000 per semester. It'll be expensive than other normal commerce under graduate courses as it provides ACCA integrated with B. Com honours. There'll be some other fees on ACCA like registration and other stuffs related to it.
Fees and Financial Aid
No there is no such loans are provided by the College. There are some scholarships provided, the students have to check with Administration of college to know more about it. The students with lower income will be considered for scholarship.
Campus Life
They conduct elections in the College every year. They promotes sports and cultural activities in college. The students have to participate in club activities, it's a part of their academics. They makes students to organise programs by themselves.
Hostel Facilities
Chance of getting into Loyola's hostel is very low. Either you have to be in sports or in college team of preferred games. There are lot of men's hostel and PGs near the College. If you have enough friends you can take rental house too.
Admission
the students who studied Commerce with maths can only enroll in this course Call letter for entrance came fisrt after clearing the entrance, the call letter for interview came on the following day Admission call letter for B. Com honours came within 1 week.
Faculty
The College faculties was a bit confused to study the course and how to handle it, initially. But, now they are trained and better than last year. 2018-21 is the first batch of B.Com honours batch of Loyola College Chennai.
