Maharashtra MBA CET91 percentile 3rd best college to offer Pune Unversity MBA course with decent placement.

Good, but there is a gap between what industry needs and the course syllabus. As it is university offered syllabus.I had opted for finance specialisation and interested in investment areas,but due to generalised course content, only one subject i could learn investment related core content and I had learn other subjects like HR, Operation, System and Marketing which are not that useful for core finance professional.

Yes, But stipend will depend on company to company,mostly marketing guys got stipend but I think none of core finance intern got stipend.

I passed out in recessionary period, so placement per say was not that great, though fortunately through college I got two placement opportunities and now I am working in Bank Treasury.For marketing it was very good, almost all got placed and very few from operations and HR.

I got inducted under govt sponsored fee structured, so it was affordable i paid Rs.60, 000 per year excluding books, exam, hostel and mess fees there was no charge for library and library books fee structure for other students may vary from 4 lacs to 4 plus.

I have not availed any loan facility, but friends have taken loan from bank of India as it has tie up with our college to offer loan facility including all fess of college, canteen, mess and hostel.

Huge campus, good life to enjoy with friends. Free 24 hrs internet lab, 16 hrs library facility, lots of competition, social events, gathering, good people to compete with and great young crowd. Gender ratio was almost equal as campus has one girls engineering college.

No hostel for boys although girls can have hostel facility canteen was good and with all kind of foods open for all day and throught the clock. But there were many hostel and rooms in near vicinity at some premium cost as the locality was expensive. But distant areas from college will get at affordable cost.

College has active alumni club with two chapters in pune and mumbai every year we meet either in pune or in mumbai. Good scope for personal interaction, network building, etc.

Pune university standard Se mister pattern exams good to learn basic theory in 1st year and one need to choose specialisation in 2nd year. Finance, Marketing, HR, Operations, and System, Level of difficulty was more that moderate for most of papers, but I felt high difficulty level in Taxation papers total subject 8 per semister.

Good to teach subject content, but was bit restrictive to impart industrial or practical skills. Their knowledge was good when it comes to teaching what given in book but, when it comes for teaching the industry practices, like the investment pricing models, research related areas, hands on practical skills, they felt short of expectations.
