My College Review

Education provided is good enough to orepaythe students for corporate jobs, infrastructure can be improved a little bit.

The course curriculum for is very contemporary, with new subjects and different types of projects and extra certification courses are also made available to the students. We have a trimester pattern along with a continuous evaluation process including everything from exams, attendance, student behaviour, etc.

Placement in the college is good, at least more than we expected, a good amount of companies come to employ students and internship opportunities are also plenty in the campus.

Annual cultural events take place once a year, called SYNERGY, happens during the month of January and consists of bands performing, dance performances, fashion show, etc. Apart from that, we have 2 yearly inter college events consisting of sports competitions, online gaming competitions, singing and dancing competitions.

The fee for my program when I got admitted was 1. 1 lacs per annum, a little on the expensive side for most students. Fees in paid in 2 installments during the year, once 35000 and once 75000. Can be paid in cash, draft, card, or online. An additional examination fees of 1950 has to be paid for every trimester.

No I didn't opt for any scholarships or any other kind of education loan. I am not aware of any scholarship offered to students.

Campus of the college is very huge, plenty of places to sit around and do your work, good number of libraries, computer labs and other necessary labs for different courses. Extra curricular activities like sports, debates etc. keep going on thouroughout the year and are quite interesting.

No I haven't opted for the hostel facility, however there are hostels in the campus, both for boys and girls, with okay rooms and not so great food. The hostel regulations are quite strict and also only vegetarian food is allowed.

I have very little idea about our alumni network as I am in touch only with a few of the alumnus from this college.

I gave an entrance exam and got admission on the merit list basis into BBA(CA). I chose this course because it contained a balanced amout of both business related and software related subjects giving me a decent overview of both the world's. Admission was fairly simple, give the exam, get results online, and it had an easy admission process.

Faculty of the college is fairly experienced, they know what they're teaching and explanations are pretty decent. Student teacher communication however is not the best and can be improved, functioning of the departments is very erratic and students' opinions are hardly heard.
