NSHM Knowledge Campus

There is some issues with infrastucture of the college, mainly asthetic. Also the location of the college might sometimes led to students spending more money on travelling to the college from bus stands and railway stations.

The course is evenly distributed within six semesters and covers every basic knowledge required to become a professional. Each semester have two slot exams and a final semester exam. Labs are available for all with plenty of equipments to work with.

Placement and job opportunities totally depends upon the performance of the students. There are plenty of options for placement provided by the institute and those who perform well during the courses are surely to get great job opportunities. Interships are also provided by the college for some courses by independent interships are also encouraged and backed by the college.

There are many cultural festivals and fests that happen every year in NSHM. My local festivals like Basanta Utsav, Holi, various puja celebrations are also celebrated here. Also the college organizes various seminars, trips and functions to keep the students engaged and interested in their perticular courses.

Compared to other colleges and institues the fee structure is vey competetive and for some courses cheaper than others. For my course, media science, the fees is very reasonable at Rs. 367400. Also various scholarships are available and given out to students who need it.

Firstly the college offers a very reasonable payment plans with various options like, one time full payment, yearly plans, or semester plans. Also scholarships are avilable from the local government for those who need it and the college always makes sure that students are informed about scholarship plans.

There are plenty of labs for the students to work in. Also there is dedicated sports deparment to facilitate students with equipments and also the college organizes plenty of sports event. Other extra curricular activities are also supported by the college and most events and celebrations and done by the students.

There is no problem from the alumni or the seniors. Everyone is very respectfull and friendly. Everyone from the senior departments are very helpfull and supports the junior batches in events as well as in studies.

I wanted to persue in the field of media, especially film. I want to become a cinematographer and there was no other college or intitute near and NSHM was offering this course. The interview process is very simple and they ask only about personal liking about the chosen subject and future plans persuing that perticular field.

All the faculty members are very qualified and well experienced in teaching. They hve great knowledge and give full commitment in teaching. All faculties provide notes to the students and explains the particular subject they expertise in and helps all the way thourough the end of the course.
