Remarks

Needs to work more on the infrastructure. Needs to organise more interesting college fests. The crowd is somewhat of mix type so there are plenty of irritating students who are wannabe politicians so one has to stay away from them as thet are very mean and dangerous.

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is good. Not very deep but neither shallow. Our typical day in LU is kinda chill. There is semesters system. I am in the last batch which had yearly system. But from now on there is semester system.

Placement Experience

No there is no campus placement although there is a placements cell where you could apply. And all the government scholarships could be applied for. No it doesn't provides for any internship neither they ask for any internship.

College Events

Not many events are celebrated in LU.But various seminars and meetings are held in which you could participated. Fests are organised but they are kinda Desi type. And participation in those tests isn't much.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is very reasonable my fee per month is less than 6000 Rupees. Payments is one time and is to be done online. There is provision for scholarships and zero fee for poor SC/ST students who's family earning is extremely low.

Fees and Financial Aid

Zero fee for SC/ST students whose family annual earning is extremely low such students could study for free. Whereas other poor students could apply for various scholarships which may or may not require a test the amount may vary from 10000-100000

Campus Life

There are huge fields. There is a basketball, court football. There is a dedicated field for PE. Students. Gender ratio is 50:50. Mainly students from Eastern UP can be seen but bow many locals from lucknow also join this university. The crowd isn't very rich students are generally from lower middle class and economically backward sections. Mainly hindu and Muslims students are to be seen. Right leaning politics is mainly seens over there.

Alumni/Alumna

Haven't contacted any. Alumni base is strong there are few presidents and prime ministers from LU. Many bureaucrats are from LU. there are QUITE a few famous personalities from LU. Alumni base is very vibrant.

Admission

There was an enterance test conducted. Enterance test consisted of questions related to humanities subjects. Very basic and simple questions. But still one needs fair amount of knowledge to get admitted.

Faculty

Some professors are good and very helping others are so-so. But if you talk to them and ask them about your doubts they do listen and try to solve them. They are like typical professors they won't force you to stud or anything but if you ask they'll help.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is very useful for me in civil services examination because Optional subject remains important in Upsc examination and if u are already pursuing a degree in a subject which will be your optional in civil services examination then it will be great choice of yours . curriculum prepares me so well. Recently teachers werw changed due to their poor performances in class. This improvement was done. Now exams frequency and timings wero also fine and there was not difficultly level at all

I choose to do ba because i m interested in pursuing psychology as my career option. The curriculum is adapt according to my knowledge It is same that of Lucknow University and somewhat similar to delhi University with only few changes. The exam ain't very difficult to crack students can prepare 3-4 days before exam and yet ace it.

Placements in my college are really nice and the placement cell was we have to find the placements for the students studying the college they make they also make sure that the students are well equipped with the skill so that to get place in my college students are eligible from the 6th semester for the campus placements the highest packages was offered in my college was around 6 lakhs and average packages is about 2 lakh per annum and around 80% of the students get their placements rest also get jobs from where according to their personalities

For campus placements, 6th semester students are eligible. There are various companies which visit our campus for the campus recruitment process some of them are IDFC First Bank, Adda 24x7, Piramal Finance, etc. The highest package offered was 5 lacs and the average package as per company was 350000. 40-50 percentage of the students are getting placements in the college every year. After the BBA Degree, I am planning for the Masters Degree for better placement. |

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum at Amity University is a well rounded blend of theortical principles and practical relevance that shaped my future career. There are modules like microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics and statistics that provide a strong formation for any future career opportunities in economics or finance. Additionally the presence of specialise subject like health economics, developmental economics, international trade, public policy and behavioural economics very highly appealing and something you would not find in other universities or/and government university. The inclusion of such modules got my attention because it promised to go beyond traditional economic subjects and focusing on the practical subjects that are also industry specific level of domain of economics. They were also research projects, data analysis classes, case studies throughout the three year course which allows students to apply and test their knoweldge that further enhance the value of the degree. There were also subjects like environmental sciences, psychology, communicative English which was made mandatory for students that help them shape their personality and adapt more to a corporate setting. The examination system is designed to assess the viability of skills and critically but the difficulty of exam especially towards the end of semester can create unnecessary pressure for students. There will be time that there will be last minute syllabus changes or additional chapters to be considered and there is no structured format of what you can expect in the written exam however there is a fair grading system though some students feel that instead of the exams there can be more emphasis on analytical side rather than modules that require rote learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Overall curriculum was good that they make proper schedules of classes and all but there was something lacking is that sometimes the professor was absent and we wasn't aware about that and sitting in that class without knowing they should inform us or make a proper arrangement for replacing of class with other teacher and also there was lacking of technology in studies I didn't remember how many times they used the projector for proper teaching.

College life outside university ft. lu student

For taking admission in this college you have to give jee mains for tech courses ,there are also some sits which are allotted by university or without jee mains , personally i have entered here by giving jee mains by resistering in aktu or named uptu before it had taked admission by itself in lockdown but afyrr that 1 year it started taking admission again by aktu . LU : A good experience

First of all , lucknow university has the best faculties rather than going for any other college it has best faculty in very reasonable fees. The college fees is nominal for everybody. Even for lower income groups it provides scholarship as well as hostel facility. I never had any other option .LU was the only college that i applied to and got admitted. The admission criteria is just you have pass your 10th and 12th from any board . You must have all the relevant documents to sit in exam.
