Remarks

My college is 100 year old and so we have a big alum network Which is beneficial in many ways. Also the college is in the land of Temples Varanasi. the college is part of bhu which has many departments like medical, management etc.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course will depend on the branch. I am a chemical student, So in chemical we have 8 lab and 16 departmental courses and 10 open elective course. There are 8 semester and each semester we have 2 exam. One is the mid semester and the other is end semester.

Placement Experience

Placements & job opportunities are quite good, being a IIT the companies that visit pay a good stipend and salary. College has Training and Placement Cell which coordinates the placement and Internships for more than a 2500 students per year.

College Events

The technical and management fest is Technex which is about 80 years old and 4000+ externals participate. The cultural fest is Kashiyatra which is about 40 years old and 3000+ externals participate. The Sports fest is Spardha which is about 40 years old and 2000+ externals participate.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is about 122000/- for a semester, which varies a little bit over the years. Out of which about one lack is the tuition fees per semester and mess fees is 12000. Fees also varies with Category and financial background.

Fees and Financial Aid

Education loans are available with the banks with a lesser rate of interest than external sources. There are many scholarships from Institute as well as alumni. I have not yet availed any scholarship.

Campus Life

We have various club for extracurricular activities like sports club, dance club, music club, social club. So there are lots of option for you. All the requirement in the particular filed is fulfilled by the college.

Alumni/Alumna

Creating an engaged, supportive alumni network is crucial to an institution’s success. If communication stops once graduates leave an institution, their understanding of the university will become stale. Instead, they should be kept informed so they can remain engaged and keep abreast on the progress of the university.

Admission

We have to pass 2 exam to get admission in IITs. First you have to clear Jee Mains which is objective based exam of 360 marks. Then you have to cleared Jee advance. Then you have to fill your college preference.

Faculty

The professor are highly qualified. All the professor has Phd degree and mostly are from foreign. Faculties are very friendly and they help you in every possible case. They are also very supportive in extra-curriculum activities.

Placement Experience:

Form the beginning of very first year students are eligible for the campus placements. TCS, cognizant, wipro, are the some companies visited here. Highest package is 44 lpa in amazon which is off campus for software role. Placements % is quite medium if you are serious about skill then you will be get a path here to go ahead. Arround 60 to 70 is the placement % My plans after getting degree is to get a job.

GLA University Mathura is Great!

Placement Experience:

Average package at GLA University may range between 5-7 lakhs but one student has managed to get placements of 55 lakhs and that is still the record placement from GLA University campus Mathura. Around 70-75% students are placed every year but I will be preparing for GATE as my ambition are to be atleast post graduate if not a PHD.

Good for learning and Skill development

Placement Experience:

Mostly te 6th sem (3rd year) got eligible for campus placement. Amazon, Accenture, AVL India, Atlan and many others (about 900+) visited and made 4000+ offers. The ave. package is about 5.25 LPA and highest crossed 39 LPA. Above 60%+ got their placement and the persentage of students receiving multiple offer is about 32%. After degrre want to build a strong carrer and to contribute in the grouth of Bharat.

Honest Opinion on IIIT ALLAHABAD

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester, many students get into the internship and many gets further preplacement through it. The companies visted are google, atlassian, flipkart, qualcomm, samsung, phone pe etc. Highest package is 1.21CR per annum. Average package is 30LPA 90% students got placed. Private job is the plan after getting the degree. 90% students gets placed.

So entry in IIT BHU was through JEE ADVANCE. I gave the examination and got an All India Rank(AIR) of 7533. Then I had Josaa counselling where I had to select colleges according to my priorities. So one of the many colleges I filled was IIT BHU(4 Year B.TECH Chemical Branch). The distribution of colleges is purely based on your ranks. Higher rankers will be prefferd above you.
