Remarks

Negative The syllabus and the technologies taught arent based on the current industry standard. Few Workshops. Fewer scholarship options. Positives Good facility. Great Faculty & Teaching Quality. Nice Campus with good greenery. Great Library

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I'm a 2015 pass out. At that time the Course was based on M G University syllabus. I would say the syllabus was outdated. There are the main project and a mini project which focused on research. The 4-year course had eight semesters with 7 main Exams and other practicals exams.

Placement Experience

3

The college shows considerable interest in placements. There are no much internship programs. Companies include INFOSYS, TCS, IBS, SUTHERLAND GLOBAL, UST, QUEST, PARTIAN TECHNOLOGIES, COGNIZAT, EXPERION etc.

College Events

3.5

The events celebrated in our college include Technical Fest, Arts Fest, Sports Day, Union Day, Departement Day. Technical Fest is a combined event it is organised by all the branches. Other college students are also allowed to attend this event. Arts Fest is a two-day program in which all the branches are divided into different groups and Cultural events are conducted. Departement Day is celebrated separately by each Departement.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is just ok. It is not highly feasible. The fees in structured semester vice. An Amount has to paid at the time of joining as caution deposit Fees Structure Semesters Fees Per Year - INR 75,000(*4) Caution Deposit - INR 100,000 Total INR 400,000

Fees and Financial Aid

There arent many scholarships option available. Scholarships are provided based on the merit list publishes during the selection process. College directly does not provide any loan. We had to apply for governments education loans.

Campus Life

4.5

There is a sports day and for every semester there are two labs. (for sem 1 and 2 there are 3 labs). Gender Ratio would 3:2 female-to-male. Workshops are conducted every year about new technologies. There are other Orientation classes conducted on a yearly basis.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is not that much active. Every year they conduct a get-together function But the senior students were very helpful. They helped in Academics. All Fest and Cultural activities were organised together.

Admission

I was interested in programming and this was one the few good College in Engineering at that time. I was in there merit list so I chose this College. The admission is done based on KEAM score and 12th marks. The college publishes a merit list based on the KEAM score and 12th marks. We can select the required Engineering stream. And based on the list the Course is allocated.

Faculty

3.5

The main faculties are well qualified with a minimum postgraduate degree. The lab staffs are all graduated. And about the teaching, I would say it's ok. There are many good faculties. The only thing that should be changed is to change the study materials to digital. Currently, it's the traditional way of taking notes and photostats.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is the worst. Teachers rush through the portions so that they can finish at the earliest. It may be because the university has a unjustifiable timetable. There is very little practicals given. The ones that are given are just for namesake.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

Currently placements are bit low, due to inflation, but compared to other colleges like KMEA, etc we have better placements similar to Muthoot and all. We have placement training, and other supports which can help us crack aptitude exams and prepare for placements Almost 70-80% students are placed every year, with an avg package of 4LPA

Placement Experience:

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.
