Entrance Preview

Got admitted to IET DAVV after giving PRE ENGINEERING TEST in Madhya Pradesh state MP PET. This is the second best state college for MP PET

Course Curriculum Overview

Focused on very good courses, the curriculum consists of a wide variety of courses which are very essential for development of engineering skills for any students, along with that faculty was good

Internships Opportunities

I did not do any internship during the course of my computer science program. Although a lot many companies came for campus job placements including Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Adobe, Cognizant etc.

Placement Experience

Good campus placement opportunities, almost 80% of the students got placed after the end of the placement period. Salary range for different companies varied from 3. 25 lacs per annum to 8. 5 Lacs per annum

College Events

Great environment for college events, there were multiple student organization bodies which conducted social and cultural events throughout most of the year. For all 4 years, music bands including Jal, Kailash Kher, Euphoria and KK came to college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Not very much expensive, an average fee of around 40, 000INR during time period of 2006-2010. Apart from that fees, additional fees like exam fees were an extra part.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am not aware of anything in that area. Although they had some good scholarship of backward classes.

Campus Life

Good activities for debates and robotics were help between inter colleges. Gender ratio was good, although felt like females were less in some streams

Hostel Facilities

Mess food was good, I did not stay in hostel but it looked like they had average hostel room facilities.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Not very much alumni network, at least that is my experience. They are certain groups on facebook although for alumni and students of the college but I am not very well connected to them

Exam Structure

Not hectic at all. Exams and labs were pretty much chilled but at the same time exams were designed to test students knowledge gain and capabilities at the end of semesters.

After the 7th sem, internship opportunities arrive in Vit Bhopal, and there are many of them, almost 1 or 2 a week, if not greater than that And in the 4th year, the students are eligible for placements The highest package was RS 58 LPA The average is 8 to 9 LPA and the lowest is 3 to 4.5 LPA

Placement Experience:

Manit has an excellent support for placements and internships opportunities. Thanks to the training and placement cell of Manit. There are more than 100 companies visiting including Goldmen Sacks, Google, Microsoft and many other and placement of most of the courses are above 70 percent

My journey through Engineering and Campus Life

Placement Experience:

The placements are good and offer strong opportunities for both full time roles and internships. Students are eligible for placements from 2nd year. Most companies approach from 3rd year. Many reputed companies visit the campus for placements, inluding D.E Shaw, Goldmann Sachs, Flipkart, Meesho, Accenture. Many people are placed from college from cse, ece from other branches its quite less. Overall the placement ecosystem is highly supportive and prepares students for their professional careers.

At MANIT,Bhopal students are eligible for placments from 7th semester . Companies like Microsoft, amazon ,adobe ,tcs, infosys and wipro visit , offering software,core and consulting roles. My overall experience in my college.

Placement Experience:

From 7-8 semester the students are eligible for campus placement.Companies are L&T edutech,tech Mahindra,TCS, infosys and etc..The highest package offered is 18 lakh and average is 4lakh per annum.about 70-80% of students are getting placed.My plane to get the highest package of the decade.

Besides the IITs and NITs in Madhya Pradesh, IET DAVV and SGSITS are the two most renowned government aided institutes.
