College is near the market area, so if you want anything or want to go anywhere there's no problem. Campus of the College is very large and no means of transportation is provided within the College, so if you don't own a vehicle then you've to walk to class from hostel.

Time table is a little bit tiring in first 5 semesters in mechanical engineering as you have 3 labs in a week. From 6th semester onwards time table becomes a little relaxed. Classes are held 5 days a week that's from Monday to Friday.

Computer science engineering field has best placement and internship opportunities here. Almost all students from third year were offered an internship. Although for core branches like Civil and Mechanical engineering very less companies visit for internship. Overall placement of College is above 80% and companies likes Maruti Suzuki, Resonance coaching visits for placements.

College holds two festivals, technical and cultural. Technical festival called Technisearch is considered as Central India's largest tech fest. Many students from within and from outside the city take part in it. Second is the cultural fest called Maffick which also occurs at a large scale. Many College students and groups apply for different competitions held from different cities.

Fees for B.tech course is around Rs.68000 per semester. That is around Rs.136000 for general students whose parents' income is more than 5 Lakhs per annum for day scholar students. Hostelers have to pay around Rs.88000 per semester.

You can get an education loan from any bank at a feasible rate. College has a branch of State Bank of India within the campus, so students might usually go for it. Education loan is to be paid after 1 year when the education of the student is completed.

There are many teams like cricket, volleyball, football and basketball team. Teams practice continuously and participates in events like inter NIT competitions. Also many societies are also present to give students opportunity to explore their interests.

Seniors are mostly helpful. After 2-3 years most seniors become friends and you can seek their help in any matter. Alumni of College are usually in touch with the College and some also support for different projects inside the College which in turn help students.

Admissions are taken through JEE Mains exam based. Indian students can get admission through Josaa counseling and for NRI students it's through Dasa. JEE Mains is an online test conducted twice, first in January and next in April. Best out of two is considered as final result.

Faculty is qualified and ok, but when it comes to make the teaching and subject interesting, only few teachers are capable of that. Lectures seems usually monotonous and boring due to which students show less interest and teachers also loses their interest.
