My college review

Chandigarh University is one of the youngest university which has got accrediation of NAAC(A+). It is the fastest growing university in asia. It is very rich in cultural diversity and extra curricular activities.

Course curriculum is almost good as per the government rules and regulations. As it is one of the Youngest university in achieving such heights. Examination are strict. Two mid semester test followed by surprise test and assignments.

As, Chandigarh University is also known for a very good University with a huge number of placements. Maximum numbers of companies, more than 500 companies visits university in a single year. Students have very good oppurtunities to grab with both the hands.

The events celebrated in our university are: 1. Cultural fest 2. CU fest 3. Youth fest 4. Science exhibition 5. Bollywood singer in different programmes and actress to entertain in different time. And many more fest

Fee structure in comparison of another university, it is feasible. As per the rules the students have to submit their fee before the semester starts. For the needy students who cannot afford money, according to the academic performance it is concerned.

For SAARC countries, There was a scholarship of 25% in 2016 and also the extra scholarship according to their plus two marks. Upto 50% scholarship were there but currently i think it is reduced. So, You will sure get scholarship.

65% are male and 35% are female. About extracurricular activities it is awesome for the students who want to get platform in sports. It is very rich in cultural diversity. More than 30+ countries students are here. No Ragging.

All the seniors that i have faced are very friendly in nature. They share their experience that how they got the placement and how to crack the interview. They all are very helpful and suggest me to do the work which you are currently doing.

I just contact to Head of International Departments & after that i was called in the Consultancy which is situated in New Baneshwor, Kathmandu (AIP). After that they provide the details of the university and the further process begins.

Agriculture department i.e University Institute of Agricultural Sciences(UIAS) syllabus is totally based on the ICAR syllabus. But one this is it has not got ICAR affiliation although it is under UGC and NAAC A+ University.
