Course Curriculum Overview
Its balanced in RGMC. You get plenty of time to study, do research & participate in extra curricular activities. First year is bit stressful as everything is new. But as the months pass by,it becomes manageable.
Placement Experience
Ofcourse. As its Govt. Hosp, the Internship is bit heavy but then it provides Hands-on experience with huge number of patients with various diseases to see, treat & learn from. Clinical exposure is superb & enormous in RGMC.

ABHIYAAN - Annual College Festival ZENITH - State Level Event comprising of Symposiums, Seminars, Workshops, Quiz competitions,& Research related updates. ABHIVYAKTI - Literature events esp. with regards to MARATHI & other languages, that includes songs, plays, elocutions, poetry & many other related things. Biannual Blood Camps - On 26Jan & 15th Aug RANANGAN - Annual Inter & Intra Collegiate Sports Event includes all games except Basketball & Hockey
Fee Structure And Facilities
Very much feasible/ affordable as its Govt. Institute. The fee ranges from 50-70k per annum depending on your academic year. There are various scholarship programmes available wherein the Medical Students can avail those & there fees can literally be sometimes free of cost. Campus Life
Gender ratio is fairly equal. Laboratories are decently good with almost all tests available for whatever needed be it for any patient as it has an attached Tertiary Care Hospital i.e. CSMH. All students study & enjoy in harmony & there isnt any clash or harsh harbouring based on religion,race,ethnicity or sexual orientation. Hostel Facilities
Hostel is excellent compared to many Medical Colleges in Mumbai. Decent space in rooms,decent beds, bed matressss, clean & purified water supply 24/7 , Geyser 24/7, Daily brooming & mopping of all rooms by Cleaners appointed. Best times are Ganpati,Christmas,Holi,& New Year Celebrations.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes. Alumni do visit college from time to time to guide juniors. They are anyways in connection via FACEBOOK,& WHATSAPP. The Alumni meet caters to the need, doubts, aspirations, & current trends of the Medical field and provides them guidance from time to time.
Admission
Always wanted to pursue Life Sciences. Under parental pressure had joined B.Tech Electronics & Telecom,but left it after some time. Prepared again & cracked the entrance exam MHT-CET to get admission in MBBS.
Faculty
Faculty of the College is excellent. All professors remember you by your names, if not, then by your roll number. They encourage participation in quizzes, scientific research, & intercollegiate fests & events. Some being organized by themselves. Exposure is extravagant.
