Course Curriculum Overview

In M.Sc. Computer Science course curriculum totals 4 semesters. Total four subjects with four practical for semester First, Second and Third Semester and for Fourth Semester Two Theory Two Practical, Major Project and Seminar. Total 80 marks theory and 20 Marks Internal for Theory and practical for 100 marks.

Our college is a tie-up with various MNCs such as Infosys, Angel Infotech etc. Also, Industrial training is provided.

Teachers Day, Science Day, Cultural Gatherings, Fresher Party, Farewell Party, Annual Gathering, Alumni Meet, MGM Olympics, Seminar, Industrial Guest Lectures. In Annual Gathering college celebrated various days like Traditional Day, Cultural Day and Various Games.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For M.Sc. Computer Science I pay 25000/- per year. We need to pay through Demand Draft from any Nationalized Bank. In one year we got record books tutorial books total Sixteen record book and tutorial books we received from the college. For writing the practicals and tutorial questions.

No, i haven't opted and scholarship or education loan from the college. The students belong to SC/ST category they have freeship and Scholarship in our college.

Campus Life

The MGM Campus is very beautiful. The college campus is having swimming pool, cricket stadium, canteen, Basketball, Shuttlecock, Rifle Shooting section. Industrial Visit is organised every year for all last year students. Normally Infosys Pune. This college is best for all courses according to me.

Alumni/Alumna

Every year on the month of February, the college organizes the alumni meet. So, this time we interact with all alumni, they suggest us for our future.

Admission

I got admission based on my graduation percentage, at the time of admission they require marks memo of graduation degree and original transfer certificate. Total fees for M.Sc. CS is 25,000/- at our time. We got M.Sc. Computer Science degree from Dr.B.A.M.University.

Total of four theory lectures per day and four practical in one week. Each lecture is of one hour. Practical is for two hours. Most of the teachers use a projector for there lectures. Also used PowerPoint presentation style for theory and practical content.

From which semester students become maximum students are placement.company name I don't know I no experience , highest package is 15LPA and average is 5 to 6LPA , then percentage of placements students is 50% to 60%percentage students are playes.

The best place to get admission

Placement Experience:

Students who completed their masters are eligible for placements. Companies include Pharma, Biotech, R&d, agri companies, food industries, we can apply there. Well from 3rd semester students can apply and visit different companies previously, haidrabad, banglore are visited by our seniors. Students get salary of 30000-40000 ,there are students selected for multiple high rated companies. 30-40% Students get placed. I want to pursue Phd from India as I am more focus in research.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 3rd semester. I am going to start the process now from june. The companies such as springCT, Josh, Omniscient, Bluepineapple,etc. come for campus placements. Some companies make offers in lot or some lpick only 2/3. Almost all students get internships. In 4th semester we have to do internship compulsory. Average package is 7lpa if its a job offer if its an internship the it is lesser.

A campus life you must live once in your life - Fergusson College

Placement Experience:

Placements in Fergusson are pretty good. Students are eligible for sitting in the placement drives from the 3rd semester, we also get Pre-placment activities and tests before the drive starts. We get companies like Axtria, Vois , bluepineapple etc on campus. The highest package is 10 - 12 lakhs and 4-6 lakhs on an average. In my batch out of the 30 people we 20 are placed so far on campus.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the GIPE are decent. This year the highest package offered was 18 lakhs per annum by Deloitte and IDFC FIRST Bank. Although the placements are not 100% but it's around 60%. Students need to work hard and score well in aptitude test and they should start the preparation from the second semester onwards so that they can easily manage their end semester exams as well as the aptitude test. The average placement package is around 8-9 lakhs. My plan is to get a corporate job and gain some experience and exposure in the corporate world and learn how the things actually work. Many companies that come to the college are looking for data analytics role. The ratio of the companies looking for consultant, risk analyst is less based on market demand and other circumstances.

By the end of sem3 itself, the postgraduates are deployed into interviews for certain internships. But if you are with good academic scores and knowledge you can even get directly placed. Every individual is given 3 chances by the college to get and crack the interview but if the student is not able to then he is guided to where to apply but mostly ICRI makes sure everyone is placed as the college proudly stays with its 100% placement tag line. As I told here there are varied background people here with different needs of roles, the highest package I have seen getting is 15L pa to the lowest of 3L pa which even depends upon the company to your broad spectrum of knowledge. To specify which companies come here for recruitment are sun pharma, Cipla, and many more there are all 20+ companies that come and hire the intellectuals. To specify about me I am planning to get a CRC post as a start for CRA in the future.

PG not given any campus you will get a job on your ability. We have to prepare for set net after MSc but there are some companies visited college like Wipro. They provide job but the salary is around 25000 per month.

The course eligibility is based upon 12th percentage. Should be above 60% with PCM as compulsory subjects. You can go through college websites or through staff of the college for an application form with fees of 100rs. The application starts after 12 th results.
