Personal review about Chandigarh University

Everything is good at university but they are very strict on 75% attendance thing. Management is also good.

Yes it is relevant course to do. It is well structured course which gives ease in understanding and learning. In this we can learn the brief about all the 4 core departments of hotel. Which is F&B production, F&b Service, Housekeeping, Front office. Also the placements of CU is one of the best. So i can say the faculty giving us the right path for our future.

Companies like Taj, Oberai, Radisson, Hyatt, Mariott, Dominos, KFC etc come for the campus placement in our university. Also, University gives special training for interview preparation and also CU gives International internship option.

All the festivals are celebrated here in CU with proper tradition and way. CUfest, tech fest, Tashan night, star nights also happens in CU. Sometimes we also got duties in the hospitality of celebrities which gives a very good feeling and the chance of interaction and selfie.

The program fee is the same as comparing to other colleges which is a good thing. Payment mode is also very easy. Online or counter. No additional fee is charged to secure admission. The breakdown of the fee is properly done with full transparency no hidden charge was charged.

University offers scholarship to students according to marks. I didn't opt for a scholarship so I don't know much about it.

The gender ratio is almost the same but in some departments, I see girls ratio higher than boys. No student parties is active in CU. Yes, there are a lot of cultural societies in CU because of international students and Indian region students. No religion, gender, politics and the economic status issue happens in CU.

There is University alumni & senior students network which always help us in getting references in jobs.

After scoring rank in NCHMCT JEE, I had first counselling in our local then I choose Chandigarh University as my college. When I reported to the Chandigarh University we had a very warm welcome by our seniors and some respected teachers. Then the registration happened and I submitted my documents to the appointed staff member from CU.

If I talk for one day. 4 lecture of practical per day and 2 to 3 lectures of theory per week has been taken by our core subject teachers. Also, our faculty has both industry and academic experience which helps us a lot to learn what all new is going on in the industry. Personally I am very satisfied with our teachers about what they taught.
