Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was pretty updated and dynamic. Through our term of four sessions, we studied about numerous subjects like business, IT management, HR management, behavioral science, etc. For the first two semesters, we studied all of the subjects whilst from the third semester onward we studied a set of subjects related to our specialization.
Placement Experience
Placements are pretty articulate and tremendous in our college. Big Brands like Coca-Cola, Shoppers Stop, Nestle, SBI, Berger paints, Axis, etc. Packages offered during our batch were in between 3-8 LPA, which was pretty decent. We received full support for the placement process as well as the internship process.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I paid around 4.7 lacs for the two year MBA program at the GNIM. That means a 3.4 lacs for the first year and 3,10,000 INR years for the second year. Our college is pretty flexible in terms of the fee structure. Thus it was manageable, plus I availed the fee relaxation during the second year.
Fees and Financial Aid
Students can apply for the scholarship at the beginning of each year. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of merit, while some scholarships are provided on the basis of the economic background of the student. One such scholarship would be a minority scholarship worth 25k.
Admission
Admissions are granted on the basis of a merit list which is created on the basis of a number of factors like entrance test scores (MAT), group discussion round, personal interview, individual work experience, etc. The entire admission process was pretty hectic.
Faculty
We were lucky enough to have a talented pool of faculty members, dedicated towards the betterment of the student's careers. They were like mentors to us and guided us in regards to topics other than what they were teaching. Even the guest faculty was pretty talented and gave us some of the valuable insights regarding the industry and updates in the corporate sector.
