A good college, with an excellent faculty.

This college taught me the meaning of the proverb, "The sky is the limit". Everyday we get to learn something new, each and every tasks they provide us, only sharpen our minds and skills for the competitive world out there.

Since I opted for PGDM , our curriculum was different from than those of the MMS students. We have the Trimester system for the exams. And each trimester has 6-7 subjects comprising of all the fields for the first year, i.e. Finance, Marketing, Operations, Human Resources.

Yes, this college does provide Internships. It has a specific cell for the student's Internships and Placements. Each and every student of Post Graduate programs are placed in this college. i.e. no one is left out for internships. Stipends are subject to vary to the companies that provide internships. I got an internship from FUTURE GENERALLI and the stipend I am promised is Rs.10000/-

As I mentioned,the college promises to place each and every student of the PG programs. the package offered to the students vary from 4 lakhs-10 lakhs. The companies that come for the placements are Aditya Birla, Siemens, Primetals, HDFC bank, ICICI bank, Talent Corner etc,

All the Indian calendar festivals are celebrated in the college. Also the students have undertaken Intra college as well as Inter college fests and events in the college. On a professional note, events such as, VIPANAN- new age marketing, WORKPLACE 2020- An HR oriented event as well as events for Finance have also been conducted in the college, with various guests from esteemed industries and also famous personalities in India have also attended the events organised here in the college.

As per my knowledge, most of the B-schools charge a fee of not less than 7 lakhs. But GNIMS has a feasible fees of Rs.6 Lakhs/- with facilities such as laptops and International industrial visits. It is not expensive compared to other colleges.

There are scholarships available for Sikh Minority students and ST/SC/OBC students. Loan facilities are offered in the college as well. The college has several tie-ups with renowned banks for necessary help for the students.

The college has an active sports club supported by the students and the staff as well. As Management students, clubs such as FINANCE club, MARKETING club, and other specialization clubs are also formed for the students.

There is no Hostel facility for this college, as this college is located at the Central Railway path, and the travelling through train is an easy option than being in a hostel for most of the students.

I was made the newest member of the upcoming Alumni team of the college. We have a group of all the batch heads right from the year 2002 to 2020, to discuss all the alumni network meetings and support teams. The Alumnis of the college are often proved as a helping hands when it came to any placement crunches for the students of the college.

We have a trimester exam system with a vast portion. Within every 2 months, we have our exam and before every exam we have our internal exams as well, which comprises of presentations and small tests.

I received a phone call from this college, and hence came to know about the admission procedures and right away started the round of GDPI and WAT. Then after a 3 days wait, I got a call from the college, with the message that I was selected for the PGDM course.

The faculty, of this college is very good. Each professor in this college holds Ph.D in their records. some of the faculties are alumnis of some reputed B-schools such as JBIMS and SIES etc. Each professor have an in-depth knowledge in their subjects and are always open to listen to our doubts and fears.
