Remarks
My experience with the GNIM is a mixed bag of feelings. On the whole, it was a good experience for me. I learned a lot from the college - teamwork, to be patient, to handle situations when everything is going against you, to do multitasking at the same time, make a lot of friends.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was very informative. We learned about the corporate sector in detail. Being from a non-finance background, I never faced any issue in understanding the curriculum, it was pretty helpful. It made us project our thinking towards the analytical part of our situation.
College Events
Campus life was pretty good and the social life was electric. Events organized were good and students from different cultural backgrounds get a chance to present their talent. Events calendar were always full of our college. Holi, Diwali, republic day was a major area of attraction. Different inter-college competitions and seminars are organized throughout the year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee was a mere 469,000 INR for the two-year program, which was very much budget-friendly and selected students even had a chance of availing different scholarship options. I was very glad to be a part of my college and how it changed my life course.
Fees and Financial Aid
GGSIPU University awards students for their continued excellence in the Academics. In addition to that our college also offers scholarships to selected students belonging to a backward class. One such scholarship which my friend availed was Single Girl Child Scholarship.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is awesome. Many of the pass-outs of our college are placed in different organizations at varying capacity. They would visit the college in order to boost the confidence level of the students. These alumni were pretty insanely cool. I interacted with them and sought career guidance from them.
Admission
I gave the MAT entrance exam, which was very tough. On the basis of entrance exam scores, I was invited for the GDPI round. Overall the competition was pretty stiff during these rounds. But I was fortunate enough to get into the college. After my name appeared in the first merit list, I appeared for the counseling session.
