Remarks
My experience with the VIIT was pretty good. I am feeling nostalgic even writing about my experiences. The college gave me friends for life, memories to live with and a career to keep moving forward in life. The infrastructure was top-notch and I shared a profound bond with some of my faculty members. I am connected to them, till date.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course Curriculum was very exciting and creative. I joined this MBA to support my family business and the course curriculum was exactly what I wanted. The endless case study analysis and constructive feedback of our faculty members prepared me for difficult situations.
Placement Experience
Placement is not that good at our institute. The placement cell is dedicated to improving the level of confidence of the students by organizing mock interviews and personality development sessions. Some well-known brands visit our campus but the overall placements have a lot of scope of improvement and that will only happen if they approach more companies for placements.
College Events
Numerous cultural and festive celebrations are organized throughout the year in our college. One of the most beautiful things is the coming together of the students from different cultural backgrounds and celebrating festivals that are not even their own. Our department used to organize management fests to engage and entice business-related role-play activities.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Our course fee was at par with other B-Schools in the region. I paid around 2 lacs in total for the two year program. This fee included caution money, registration fee, tuition fee, etc. Overall our college was very much feasible in terms of day to day charges.
Admission
I applied to the college with my MAT exam scores. They called me for the interview. The interview process was pretty stiff though I cleared it nevertheless. The administration was very supportive throughout the admission process. They even gave me some relaxation for presenting my documents.
Faculty
The faculty was pretty experienced and very adaptable. They adjusted their style and pace of teaching as per the need of the hour. They all had relevant degrees but their level of knowledge was beyond the academic teaching they gave us.
