How is IIT MADRAS

In every semester the work load on any students is very high which impact directly on students health. It also has a good impact which makes the student enough strong to fight in every tense situation.

In my B.Tech degree there is total eight semester. Each semester contains some particular courses which includes some theoretical exam some partical exam and some lab courses. We have to attend the classes for these exam with 75? attendance. Some courses are tough and some are quite easy.

Placement in IIT Madras is very good. The average placement of every department is greater than 12 lakhs per annum. Yes IIT Madras provides internship not only to indians it provides to foreign students also. Till now I haven't got any internship.

INTER IIT CHAMPIONSHIP. SHAASTRA (A Technical meet). SAARANG (Cultural festival). Inter Department Sports meet. Freshie Nite. Immersion program. There are many other events. Even every day we have something new to participate and celebrate.

It is based on student's family annual income. If annual income is less than 1 lakh rupees then his / her fees is very very low. For income between 1 lakh to 5 lakhs then fees is moderate. For whom whose annual income is more than 5 lakhs rupees fees is very much. So according to me feel structure is feasible.

I have already mentioned that it's fees structure are based on the student's family annual income. Since my family income is less than 1 lakh rupees the fees of mine is around 25? of fees of any regular students. Except this I haven't gotten any scholarship.

Labs are pretty good in our institution. It has all the latest equipment and technology for the studies and research. Even ii is a technological Institute it also encourages the sportsmanship character of a person.

Yes I am in hostel. IIT Madras has a large campus of about 700 acres with more than 15 hostels in it. It has more number of boys hostel then girls and the hostels name are on name of the River like my hostel name is CAUVERY. Hostel infrastructure are good and the facilities available are also very nice.

Seniors in our institution are very good they help you in every situation. They always encourage and guide us to the right way. Alumni network is awesome. There is an alumni club which helps the students by the alumni funding.

While studying for class 12th board exam I have prepared for the entrance test of IIT colleges in the month of January I have cleared the first level of JEE exam that is JEE MAIN with AIR around 20,000 then in the month of may I have cleared the second level that is JEE ADVANCE with AIR 6495. Then after participating in JOSAA round I got admission in IIT MADRAS.

Faculty in our institution are excellent. They are very interactive and helpful to us. They explain every topic very interestingly so that everyone should take interest. They slove our every small doubt. So they are just awesome.
