Remarks

The university culture is not study oriented. Also the higher authority do not show interest in bringing excellence to the students or providing quality research to the farmers. Lack of personal interest form them makes students lazy and dismental them.

Course Curriculum Overview

1

Yes. The schedule is very classically arranged so that students can have their regular credit hours of practicals as well as theory lectures but can also utilise their free time in library, computer labs or other activities of their personal interest. The exam structure and course syllabus is one area where improvement can be done. Also the exam papers are not challenging enough to test the students intelligence. It's not much of research focused and deals with only providing degree certificate to students.

Placement Experience

0.5

There are very few companies approaching to this university that to with very low salaries to the students. The Dean, Vice Chancellor are not showing interest in bringing the good placement offers for students. If any company is coming here then they provide only 2 to 3 Lac Indian Rupee per annum salary which is very low. There are some JRF and SRF posts available in this university depending upon the government projects and they are not provided with adequate security of their jobs, but instead they are the one becacuse of whom this university is running as they are doing hardwork and guiding students. Also their stipend is not provided on time due to lazyness of university management.

College Events

0.5

Caste and Race related selection process is observed in sports and there are no sports facilities provided by university. No sports teacher is present in university. No cultural teacher is there. No auditorium, no sports ground, lack of interest form higher authority is observed. Not even a simple insurance or medical facility is provided to students in case of sports and cultural injury. Students have to manage by themselves.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Very expensive considering this is an agricultural university, students admitting in this university are from rural background having farming as the main and only source of income to his family. Hostel and Mess facilities are also very expensive considering this is a Government's university and not privately funded.

Fees and Financial Aid

The government provide scholarship to students depending upon their admitting exam. For students admitting through ICAR, scholarship rate are 5000/month, 12000/month and 25000/month depending upon the rank secured by students and whether students studying PG or PhD. For students admitting through UP-CATET exam, the scholarship is given on the basis of caste. The details are available on the website of UP government.

Campus Life

3

2:1 gender ratio in favour of male is observed. There is no party culture, no workshops, no cultural society, no students Union present in university. Race, religion and Caste related difference is maintained by the faculty members themselves and also passed to students. Girls are very strictly locked in their hostels as they are not allowed to do outside the hostel after 7:00 PM.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

Hostel rooms are very spacious but the students have to share their rooms at UG level only. At PG and PhD level, they have separate room. The average rent per student per annum is 12000 Indian Rupee. They are equipped with WiFi, geezer, security guard, in hostel mess to each hostel like facilities. But frequent electricity disturbance is there.

Alumni/Alumna

There is no alumni greet and meet culture in this university. The students maintain their relationship with seniors by themselves. Management do not play any role in maintaining relationships with alumni.

Admission

There are 2 ways to get admission in this university. 1) Through ICAR examination; 2) Through UP-CATET exam. First exam is an all India level exam and also can be given by other selective nation's students and the exam is currently organized by NTA. For more details visit NTA official website. I got admitted in this university through ICAR exam. The second exam i. e. UP-CATET exam is limited to the students having domicile of Uttar Pradesh state of India. For more details of this exam visit to it's official website.

Faculty

0.5

The faculty members are very irresponsible and lazy and they don't bother to take lectures and practicals are also not conducted in this university in any department. Due to lack of knowledge in the faculty members students left to only self study. They are qualified enough to teach but not interested in sharing the knowledge due to cushion provided by the Dean, Vice Chancellor.
