Best teaching experience!!

The college is well situated. Not far from railway station and the surrounding infrastructure makes it a perfect landmark of virar. The college focuses more on the quality of the education even though some things like hostel accommodation and mess lacks behind a little bit in quality.

The course curriculum is made by University of Mumbai and seems to be heavy at start for post graduation. The exam pattern goes by 2 semesters per year consisting of 4 papers/semester. Each paper is of 100 marks which is further divided into 25 internals and 75 written test

Job fair is conducted multiple times in a year where from 10th pass to post-graduate students are invited irrespective to their admission in the college. Big IT and management companies provide on-campus placement for students. College doesn't provide internship as per my knowledge

Inter college fests are carried by yearly. At the end of the year, various days are celebrated from traditional to western cultural diversity. University level College is also hosted in our college. District level kala-krida is also organised to enjoy the local tradition.

The fee structure is decide by University of Mumbai and further more the seats are abundant making it further cheaper for the backward class to apply for admission. The fees are feasible for all students.

Huge concession are provided in case of caste reservation. Scholarships are also provided to economical background class students as well. The availability of seats provides a opportunity to all the students to apply for the seats.

The R&D lab is very well equipped with sophisticated and expensive instruments which are not commonly found in normal labs. The cost for operation is also very nominal for students to carry out their projects. District level chess and a Mega marathon is also organised annually, where the common people are also encouraged to participate in the show.

The bonding between each batch of different streams are very good. All show unity during the inter-college fest and the bonds lasts till the memories. The seniors are very helpful in terms of teaching instruments and also provides assistance in your project.

The College is also a junior college. After passing our HSC, i applied for B. sc Biotechnology where i secured a seat based on merit. After graduation i decided to continue with my program in the same college as the teaching quality was excellent.

Faculty here is very well experienced in case of Department of biotechnology. Most of the faculty members have completed their Ph. D and the teaching techniques with proper reference is also a plus point here.
