Remarks

Administration wise lot should be improved and lectures are good on there own ways. Overall I will say that it college where lot can be done but trying it and should bring out the each individual talents not only in academics, they should support sports, cultural and other things the individual is interested in doing it.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

As it is under VTU, this college follows the VTU regulations for the course. In my opinion there should be practical way of learn not in chalk and board. Exam structure is pretty straight forward semester wise exams. There will be 8 subjects(6 theory 2 practicals) per semester and 2 semester per year. You can't have more than 4 subject arrears in an year. If you have so then you will be detained and you should clear those subject in next semester and attend classes for next year academic year.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements are okay but not reached expectations. Only three core companies came to college for CS student. Rest are non technical company. Internship are offered with some companies collaboration. Placement training should be from 2nd year. At least three hours per week.

College Events

3

There are few events in college. In college for all branch there will be college fest, ethnic day and some other days not more than 10 from the college side. But in the department wise there are other events which celebrated within department like tech fest, women's day, and there will be a fun week in even semester. Department events can participated by other departments too.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For CET it's around 65000 per year and there will be some scholarship for government side around 18000. For management there will be 140000 per year. Exam fee must be paid excluding college fee that is around 1000 per semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is scholarship from the government for students who applies for it. They should provide the details about the overall income of the family and other details. According to those details they will provide the scholarship. Average scholarship is 18000.

Campus Life

3.5

There are extracurricular activities conducted by different departments where anyone can participate the events. There are college sports like kabaddi, cricket, football, basketball, and others. But there is no proper Coach for those games and not proper scheduled for training and grounds. Administration are mostly concerned about the exam results.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes there are alumnis where they were contacted by college and have some session for interaction. Some alumni are directly contacted, and helped in some doubt related to the studies and projects. Some of the session helped in some cases and some senior will help in academics and projects if we approach them. Seniors conducted some session to teach some concept which they know like Android as a volunteer.

Admission

For management Admission process is simple where there are some staffs in college who will explain about the course and college and can talk to secretary and placements department. In CET government will allocate seat for this college according to the CET scores. A person can choose three college according to preference but ultimately government will decide the college but if you don't like the college you can go through another round of counseling in CET.

Faculty

4

Some faculties are extremely good for the job as lectures and there intention are very well expressed to the students and there are perfectly fit for the lecturing but some of them are not a good and can't express there ideas or teaching. They may be qualified but not good for lecture job.

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.
