Remarks
MBAPGPM from ICFAI University, Raipur literally changed my career for good. The infrastructure is good, the faculty is also good. One of the key highlights of the college was the placement. It has been an exploratory journey. I would definitely recommend the ICFAI college for management studies.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our curriculum was pretty diverse and updated. Syllabus covered topics from varying disciplines. First-year was mostly focussed on covering the basics of the subjects from a general MBA. The next two semesters were focussed on practical exposure in terms of managerial skills. The companies start visiting the campus from the third semester. A regular day was pretty casual and in college.
Placement Experience
Our college has a 90% placement record. Some of the top recruiters include Barang TMT, Coca-Cola, etc. The packages offered are also good. Students secured packages as high as 7-8 LPA for international profile while the average packages are around 6 LPA.
Fee Structure And Facilities
They charged me around INR 196,000 for the entire 2-year PGPM course which means 4 lacs per month. The facilities provided were also at par with the fee structure, especially the industry exposure. Overall, it was a program that delivered full value for money.
Campus Life
ICFAI has a state of the art infra and a structure of modernized labs. Our classrooms equipped with Wi-Fi and AC facilities. They also have a digital library and computer lab equipped with necessarily digitized labs. It is one of the finest B-schools in Ahmedabad. The campus life is good. Many festivals are also celebrated in our college.
Admission
The admission process was pretty smooth and everyone was pretty supportive throughout the admission process. I applied with my marks in the graduation and a merit list is prepared on the basis of that. But the personal interview round is a crucial step in the selection process.
Faculty
The faculty members are quite qualified and they are quite supportive as well. They constantly keep on pushing students towards exploring entrepreneurial opportunities. The professors also had the relevant experience especially in terms of corporate exposure.
