F.M. Autonomus College, Balasore

Though all things are good in our college, There is one problem. The campus is very small and it rests on the road which is quite annoying. Some of the infrastructures are already broken and need to be repaired.

The couse that I've choosen is computer Science in Bachelor in Science. It is a self financial course. In the class room we are provided with projectors and the labs are also fully air conditioned having 15 desktops for study purposes. The Faculties are very good and sencier at their job.

Though there is no internships available at our college, we would e glad if there was. Campus selections are held every year for the final students so they can have early job oppertunities. This campus selection is only available for computer science students only.

There are several events celebrated in our college including all national functioms. Welcome ceremony, farewell ceremony, annual function. Quiz competition, debate competition. Our college holds a election every year and the winning candidates helps developing the college system also.

The fee structure is not quite good at all. Due to lack of permanent faculties we have to arrange guest faculty which is quite expensive. Beside that the examination fee and college dues are considerable.

Loan facilities are not available in Bsc. It is avalaible in BTech. The scolarship is given ilby the students for scoring high marks. It is quite good for poor families. Some non-profitable trusts also help ous college to provide scolarship.

Labrotory is well maintained with all instruments. The college playground is vast which allows students to play all sorts of games. Beside that we also have basketball court and a gymnasium for students to exercise.

Sorry I have not. But I have heard that the rooms of college hostel are in good condition but the food supplements are not quite good. There is a limited no of seats in hostel with reservation method.

As I am from other district, I dont have any connectin with the alumini network. But I have a good relationship with some of the senior students who help me by sharing notes and giving exam tips. The behavior of seniors is beyond imagination.

Through the merit list published depending upon 12th marks. One have to choose 3 colleges from the state on the basis of previous cut off marks. There are 3 phrases of selection. I was selected in the 2nd phase.

We have two faculties, one guest faculty and a laboratory department faculty. The system is well meinteined who held regular classes with regular lab classes. Whole courses are covered within time.
