College Review

College is nice as compared to other colleges in the country. Main power of the college is the campus groups which allows us to learn a variety of technical and cultural things in the college. It has a variety of cultural and technical groups.

Course Structure is pretty nice to provide us a broad view of computer Science. It comprises almost all necessary course requires for a computer science engineer. Yes now coming to the schedule(hectic or chill). The schedule is almost not much hectic for a student who don't strive the perfections of subjects and is almost cool but if someone wants to perfect everything then yeah surely he has to put lot of efforts in the subjects.

Opportunities of placements are great in my college. According to me anyone (irrespective of his main course) can get placed in companies from my college but the main thing here is most of the companies that visits during placement season are software companies and they ask only for competitive coding(as a test before interview), so most of guys irrespective of his main course end up to be a software developers.

Coming to our technical Fest(Cognizance): Its a huge fest almost around 2000 people come in this fest from outside and they enjoy the different events going on in whole campus for 3 days. there are few cultural events also like pro-nights during these 3 days. Coming to cultural event(Thomso): It is said that it is the greatest cultural fest of north-India. Around 5000 visits our college during this event and for around three days college campus is full of cultural events going on.

Fee structure is feasible for a upper middle class man in the country but for lower middle class and poor people it isn't feasible and much expensive. Yet there is bank in the campus which provides cheap loan rates to the students and despite of that, college also provide also provide scholarship to the students, whose family income is lower than a particular level.

In my knowledge there are two scholarship that college provide, 1)Students whose rank at the time of joining the college was under 300 are provided 25000/month. 2)This scholarship is availed by the students whose family income is less than 500000/year these are students are provided relaxation in tution fees and had only mess and hostel fees to pay.

Lab condition is good in college and labs are equipped with proper instruments and number of instruments are also sufficient for all students. Now coming to sport: Sport facilities are of great quality in college campus there is tennis, badminton, football, cricket, swimming pool and many more and all these are properly maintained along time there is gym also in each hostel and one is central gym(best of all).

Hostel Rooms are not luxurious neither they are miserable to live in them, college provide a lot when it comes to hostels, We provide a little fees in return we get is lot. There are a lot of hotels in the campus and most of the boys are provided with single rooms means one guy is allocated one room while it isn't the same in case girls.

Alumni network of our college is great but there is gap in between that network and current studying student, currently college students are working to minimize the gap. Yeah definately alumni are helpful in interns and some placements also because of such large network it becomes easier in firms to apply and find contacts.

There are two tests that are needed to cleared in order to get admission in my college, First is called JEE-Mains and second JEE-Advanced, In JEE-Main around 2L students are selected from all around the country and after that these are students are allowed to write the paper of JEE-Advanced and on the basis of the result of the this paper there comes the counselling part of a group of institutes named as JOSAA. We fill colleges and branches according to our priority and we are allocated accordingly.

Faculties of my college are not that much good as i expected when i got admitted in college. Not all the professors are same some of them are really expert of their subjects an also teaches nicely. Yeah, all the faculties are well qualified but the problem is qualified doesn't means that anyone can teach also. And professors don't teach a particular course, most of them switch their courses each year.
