Remarks

A great place to complete your Graduation. One of the best infrastructures a state based private college can provide. The faculty is extremely distinguished and highly regarded and sought after in academic circles. Ample scope and opportunities to engage in research in various fields. Offers one of the most varied graduation course based on your needs. Extra curriculars at the college are plus point. College has multiple clubs which are and have been prominent in various inter and intra college events. Sports are well supervised and provide you with a platform to showcase your talent. A bit political in nature. Influence matters a lot irrespective of the nature of the individual be it a faculty member or a student.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course is divided into 4 years with 2 semesters per year. So the subjects are categorised based on the complexity and maturity over the course of 8 semesters. Each semester has final external examination at the end of that semester. Additionally it also has 2 internal examinations whose average is added to the final external examination to obtain the final external score for the semester. The examinations are both practical and theoretical based. Laboratory sessions are different from theoretical classes and have their own time slots distributed across the working week.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placements are one of the best features of the campus as far as private based state colleges go. Internships are generally sought after by students in their third year break. Multiple organisations hold their respective selection events on campus to hire students as interns which may lead to permanent job allocations too. Additionally the student can search for internships off campus as well. Stipend provision depends on the on campus organisations which seek interns. Stipends, if offered, have a range between 10k-35k per month.

College Events

4

The college hosts a technical event Sudhee which is a cumulative fest for department wise technical events and activities. The college also had a biennial cultural fest Carpediem which is quite prominent in the social circle.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is a bit on the higher side. It may be a huge burden for financially weaker section of the students. However the students can avail the government incentive of the fee waiver if they meet the required criteria.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a scholarship offered by the college for the research candidates to help them with their work. Funds are also disbursed for various students to fund their projects, based on the selection committee's decision.

Campus Life

4.5

The gender ratios within the college is one of the best. Parties, events and fests are well known in the social circle and are a lot of fun. There is diversity on campus, but not on a large scale. Yet there is no discrimination or prejudice against the community, not in any way.

Hostel Facilities

4

I have been a day scholar at the campus and I don't have the necessary first hand experience. However having friends from the hostel, I can provide you with a general overview. Hostel placement is actually pretty good. Located just 500 meters away from the campus, you'd don't have to worry about the transport, as there are autos and buses every 2-5 min. The hostel outlook is a bit worn out but still functional. The hostel food is great and freshly prepared. However the entire campus has a vegetarian menu.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network of the college is a well built and knitted one. They definitely provide you with the necessary guidance, help and support needed to excel in your future endeavours. Seniors do provide you with necessary information regarding your courses and placements that take place on campus.

Admission

The college offers based on the merit marks and entrance exam results. The entrance criteria include IPE marks secured in the intermediate public examination and the test score of EAMCET. It also considers the scores of the nation wide JEE examination as an alternative prerequisite for admission.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty are highly qualified and well sought after in academic circles. The college has one of the best distinguished staff with some of the teaching experiences well over 20 years. The staff are more than qualified to teach a particular course to the students. They also extend their support in fields other than academics too. Guidance is always provided if sought by the students.

So coming to placements they will provide good no. of placements if we have skills and keen of intrest to learn new things and grab oppurtunities. Also our colleg has NACC and NBA accredation there will be more companies approaching our college and taking students for placements and trainging. TP CELL will give its 100% in placements pushes students forward for various trainings and placements. Basically placement starts froms 3-2 mostly form 4-1 where students go to attend interviews and attend exams. companies like Infosys, Wypro, My schools, Infotech, and many MNC's. every year almost 150-200 students will be selected for placements. average package will be 3.0 - 4.5LPA and the highest package is 7.5LPA . their package is decided by companies according to the role they applied and thier level of skill. 45- 50% of the students will be selected for the placements. My plans after getting the degree: If i got selected in placement its well and good i will proceed further with the placement i got incase if didnt get placed i will try of the jobs and then shortly start a business.

During 3-1 , we get only one internship i.e JPMC offering 75,000 per month which is of 3-month internship. Thhis year it took around 16 students. through coding round, hire vue interview and the hackathon process. I was selected to hackathon but sadly due to communication skills lack, I was not selected as intern , although I passed coding round, hire vue interview and entered hackathon. From 4-1 onwards we get placement oppurtunities like Deloitte, Chubb, oracle, DE Shaw, etc companies visit and offer good package only.
