IIT BHU Review

Things are very good and people are here with positive thoughts and mindsets and if you are passionate about anything then no one will be judging you, you will found a lot of people who will match your interest and thinking, you will come to explore and learn here as there are people from the whole of India, you will know a lot of culture of other people.

Course curriculum depends upon semester to semester and branch to branch, There is no such hard and tough rule like there will be this much subject in this semester. Generally, schedules are not much hectic and even if it is hectic, students manage to follow their passion and extracurricular activities.

In the case of Intern and Placement, IIT BHU performs very well and has a very good record for this. This year 2 students got a package of 1. 5 cr per anum. Stipends largely depend upon how well you have done in the field.

There are 3 fests of college which are Technex (techno-management fest) Kashiyatra (Cultural fest) and Spardha( sports fest) apart from these other things like alumni meet of our college and then of BHU, the cultural fest of BHU and other various fest do happen whose list is just endless. These are just names of a few popular fests.

The fee structure depends upon your family income, if it is less than 1 lakh then you will just have to pay a very small amount like 6k and mess fee. If it's between 1-5 lakh then you will have to pay 66% for more than 5lakh you will have to pay 100% academic fees. Which is around 2 lakh per year.

When you will come to college during counseling, there will be a range of banks that will be there for providing loans to you with very fewer interest rates. Once you are lucky enough to get admitted to any IITs, then you won't find any problem in getting loans from any bank and if you do well in your academics, then you will surely get scholarships from organizations or alums. Apart from this some state also offers scholarship to students like UP, Rajasthan, etc.

The gender ratio is as expected 1:10, and overall extracurricular things are great here, you can do whatever you wanted to do like in sports, music, drama, photography, videography in fact there are a lot of clubs and you will found a lot of people of your interest in those clubs.

Living in a hostel is compulsory for every student, for first-year boys you are expected to share your room with 2 other students,who are allotted alphabetically. Girls have to share their room just with one other girl. Each hostel has a geyser.

Being a 100-year-old college, Alums of IIT BHU are around the whole world, ranging from CEO of some topmost companies to entrepreneurs. And being a part of BHU makes our alum network even large. last year our college has celebrated its 100 years where alums from different parts of the world from different organizations and companies were called.

At first, you have to crack Jee mains and then advanced by secure a good rank. There will be counseling of JOSAA from where you will get a chance to select your priority order from different colleges and branches, and then from there, you will get any IIT /NIT/IIIT/GFTI based on your chosen filling.

Some Faculties are very good and friendly while others are rude, depends upon to whom you are dealing with as there are so many staffs and professors that you can't just write everything about it, but overall the ratio od good facilities to the rude one is greater than 50%
