Remarks
Positive remarks all are discussed above. Negative is they don't let us come with mobile. but that is not entirely bad though. The best positive thing is their education and other extracurricular activities.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is of Gujarat Technological University. The college is very nice in matter of extra curricular technical activities and courses and labs, but the curriculum of the University isn't up to the mark and old. It should (must) be updated with current market demand in jobs.
Placement Experience
The placement and job opportunities in college are up to the mark. The TPO tries his best to get all students together for the preparations for placement and job interviews and rounds. They try to bring the good companies in college campus as well as they send the college students to off-campus interview opportunities. The placement ratio for computer branch is always good and above 80%. Yes, they have their own development center called ASWDC and under that they make students learn app and website development and also they upload them on the server if completed.
College Events
1) Frolic - Technical event (annual) - this event is technical and different technical activities are carried out department wise like - coding competitions, robot race, quiz and other non technical gaming competitions etc. 2) Udaan - Cultural event (annual) - this event includes different kind of performances such as dance, singing, instrument playing, plays, skits etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
A little more than feasible. bus fees are expensive according to the annual leaves and vacations. They increase some amount every year. Fees are taken on the semester basis. When I studied, it was 34000/Semester.
Fees and Financial Aid
I had availed the MYSY (Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavlamban Yojana) scholarship offered by the Gujarat government which paid half of my fees every year. (bus fees excluded). Except this, there's TFW scheme for high merit students by the government. I don't remember college's personal offered loan/scholarship.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities are excellent. They involve 2 annual events (technical and non-technical events) and a sports event. There are different student clubs for different activities like music, sports, singing etc. They organize workshops and seminars every now and then. They also conduct industrial visits. The laboratories are more than expected. There is also separate lab for android and ios technology.
Alumni/Alumna
There is separate site made for alumni network and related stuff. They organize alumni meet every year for different branches. And all seniors are almost helpful in every aspects. Overall good. Seniors also help out juniors when they get placed.
Admission
According to ACPC, I got in admission in this college based on my marks in 12th board (aggregate of all 4 semesters)(60%) and JEE Mains (40%). I had filled this college on the first place in choice filling rounds.
Faculty
The faculties from the college are even more than the expectations in matter of technical knowledge and also practical knowledge. Some of them also have industrial experience. So they helps to share the knowledge and we can learn such advanced things right from the college platform.
