Remarks

MBA course from VAMNICOM changed my life for good. It was a roller coaster of learning experiences. Infrastructure and campus life was beyond my expectations. The institute is pretty much dedicated to preparing the leaders for the future. One of the best things about the institute was that they were constantly emphasizing on imposing cultural diversity and academic diversity to infuse a varying perspective in the classroom for enhanced learning.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum was relevant and is very well designed to meet expectations of agribusiness in India. It makes the students industry-ready. The curriculum covered a wide range of disciplines and gives a good hand to all the functions. So I have chosen this course. Case studies and industry visits helped in understanding practical applications of the course and it was pretty much helpful.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placements are pretty good at our college. The package offered ranges from 3 LPA to 7 LPA. The average package offered us 4 lakhs per annum. The training and placement cell is active throughout the year in order to generate opportunities as per the students. Some of the frequent recruiters include HDFC Bank, IFFCO, NCML. etc. Most of the recruitments are done for the role of general management and product management.

Fee Structure And Facilities

My MBA course fee was pretty nominal. I paid around INR 315000 for the first semester, and in total, I paid 6.3 lacs for the two-year program. My registration fee, tuition fee, refundable security charges, examination fee, etc was included in my fee and there were no hidden charges. This fee structure was way below par in comparison to other B-Schools and I feel lucky, I was able to qualify for this college.

Campus Life

4

The college organizes great seminars and guest lectures on topics like "Improving crop Fertility on a commercial scale", "advanced management practices", etc. Apart from that, the sports activities were limited. College is well immersed in academics and we have very little time for extracurricular activities. Apart from the annual day celebration and occasional workshops, very little festivals were celebrated.

Admission

My admission to the VAMNICOM was done on the basis of CAT exam. I scored pretty decent scores in the entrance exam and it was enough to be eligible for the counseling process of the other college. But this college is good in terms of teaching and placements that's why the cut off was high for the college. Luckily, I was able to crack the proceeding rounds.

Faculty

4.5

Teachers are well qualified with a high level of expertise. They are really helpful with their extensive corporate exposure which helped us get a hands-on learning experience. They all were very supportive and pushed us towards taking entrepreneurship.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after completing 2nd semester and entering in 3rd semester. Attendance is compulsory for getting the opportunity for placements. The companies like IDBI Bank, HDFC Bank, Property pistol, Godrej Capital are available for placements. The highest paid package is 9.75 for sales and marketing. Till now( 3rd semester) 60% to 70% students are placed. There are more opportunities for sales and marketing as compared to other fields.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.
