Remarks

A good college overall for engineering. The management is very good and its ensured that students get a safe and motivated atmosphere. There are other courses also offered by the college.

Entrance Preview

Had taken admission after my Diploma and so directly in 2nd year. Admission process was centralized.My background was Electronics and Telecom so took the same course.

Internships Opportunities

I had done my engineering course. So basically there was no internship with the engineering course. We had field visits and then we had to do projects. Not sure whether internship has started now.

Placement Experience

The placement opportunities are good and i see its becoming better each year.I cannot recollect how many were placed and which companies came to campus as its been long time.

College Events

All the festivals are celebrated very well.There is motivation to students to participate in technical events, present papers etc.There is encouragement to participate in sports as well.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have no idea on the scholarship facilities offered by Godavari college of engineering. Also not sure whether the college gives loan facillity.

Campus Life

There is motivation to participate in debates and also present technical papers. Lab is good. There is encouragement to participate in sports. The college has a big ground. No ragging.

Alumni/Alumna

All the alumni of godavari college of engineering are very well placed now. Many of them are out of India. Alumni stay in touch with each other Alumni meet is being planned.

Exam Structure

The exam structure in godavari college of engineering was as defined by Jalgaon university. It was engineering course so i dont think anyone will feel chilled out.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 4th year onwards and intership + PPO offers from 3rd year itself. The highest package offered was 38.5 LPA by the company GoDaddy, following by Nvidia with 30LPA. Every year 75-80% of the students get placed, including both on and off campus leaving the rest 20% opt for higher studies. Im currently unplaced and the college is still helping me out. After getting the degree I have decied to do job for 2-3 years and then opt for masters degree overseas.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually i have decided to only go for computer science but as my entrance exam score was not that much good. So i decided to go for ai&ds branch as it have much scope than cse. Ai&ds syllabus is very much similar to cse branch so not that much difference. Some practical practice need to be improved in place of learning theory.

I have applied for D.Y patil Kolhapur and K.K wagh COE nashik after confirming my addmission in GCOE also I have chosen this college over them because of the affordablity of course Yes I do get rejected from other colleges for the lack of my percentile for cap round If your allotted from the cap round you have to go to the collage and do a basic verification and after giving the the required documents and then confirming your seat by paying the academic year fees , and for eligibility for getting into college itd necessary to pass atleast 12th from science branch or atleast complete your deploma of 3years , after passing 12th you have to give the CET exam and full up the for the cap round...Read More
