My university

It was a golden days of my life. I will never forget it. University is good but it should focus on strengthening education system more job oriented. And should invite more companies so that most of the student get job.

Curriculum is as per the UGC because our university is deemed university. The course structure was good. Labs were done properly and frequently. In regards to examination it was conducted frequently.

Placement opportunity provided by the college was very limited. At our time only one or two company visited to recruit students from the core branch. Regarding internship some get opportunity who are Christian as our university is minority university. The stipend is also same as internship.

Festivals were conducted in our university. We all enjoyed that festival like freshers party as well as farewell party. Technical festivals were also conducted by university but not so frequently. Farewell and fresher party was organised in large scale.

It was expensive in respect of the quality of the education provided by the university. I was charged 80000 per annum in the year 2007. So in respect to placement opportunity they provided us after the completion of course it is expensive.

I don't get any scholarships from my university, not I don't take loan for my course. The scholarship was provided to christian only not to other. Loan facilities was not provided by the university but you can get it from bank.

Extracurricular activities was there. Sport fest was done every year and lots of student participate in that fest. Workshop on different things was conducted frequently. Gender ratio was healthy in the university.

I don't opted for hostel, I was living outside the university campus. So I can't say much about the hostel facilities because I don't feel it myself. I can only describe what my friends told me who were inside the hostel. According to them it was good.

Regarding alumni network there is no such thing in respect to me. After completing my course not I am in touch with them nor my university ever contact me. Regarding seniors some of them were very helpful to me.

A entrance examination was conducted by the university and I appeared in that. After I got qualified in that examination I was called for the counselling and to opt my course according to the rank got in the entrance examination. I opted electronic and communication.

Faculty of my college was average not so good and not so bad. The senior teacher were good and highly experienced but the assistant professor were not up to that mark. Most of them got the job while doing PhD from that college.
